NAME: Ron Gettelfinger.
AGE: 57.
EDUCATION: Indiana University-Southeast.
MILITARY: U.S. Marine Corps
CAREER: Joined the UAW in 1964 working as a chassis line repairman at Ford's Louisville, Ky., Assembly Plant. Elected President Local 862 in 1984 and served in that office until 1987. He became a member of the UAW-Ford bargaining committee in 1987. In 1992, he was named director of UAW Region 3. Since 1998 he has been a vice president and director of the Ford department and director of the UAW aerospace department and UAW chaplaincy program.
PERSONAL: Married to Judy. Two children, Dawn and Darin.
