Flex muscles and the mind at Red Rock
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers hikes, walks and programs free of charge, but reservations are required. To make reservations or for more information, call 363-1922. Some upcoming programs:
Intro to Red Rock Canyon: An ongoing program from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursdays. Walk and talk with a naturalist and learn about Red Rock Canyon's diverse ecological environment.
Birding with a Ranger: An excursion into the world of bird watching will be Friday.
Explore Fletcher Canyon: Join Cactus Jack Sunday on a four-mile hike through exotic ferns and flowers. Moderate 500-foot elevation gain.
Rise and Shine: Hike to the end of Ice Box Canyon and discover secrets of sheer canyon walls and diverse habitat on the three-mile moderate hike Monday.
Voice Links Toastmasters
is hosting a "Gent's Day" from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday for an introduction to Toastmasters, a public speaking organization. For reservations and location, call 594-7117.
Young Israel Aish HaTorah
