Four UNLV women's track and field student-athletes were named to the 2002 Mountain West Conference All-Academic team Wednesday.
Junior Jessica Zarndt, a distance specialist and local native from Cheyenne High School, led the squad with a 3.84 grade-point average majoring in kinesiology.
Three freshmen were also honored for their classroom achievements. They were hurdler Brigitte Ladouceur and distance runners Tiffany Sims-McCray and Jennifer Turk.
