Red Rock Photo Contest winners named

Nine Las Vegas area amateur and professional photographers will have their work on display at the Red Rock Visitors Center after winning the Red Rock Photo Contest.

The entries were consideredin three categories: amateur, children's and professional. More than 100 area photographers entered, according to the Bureau of Land Management, which sponsors the contest.

The winners were:

Winners were honored at a luncheon and received cash awards. The winning photos will be on display at the Red Rock Visitors Center until Friday.
