CARSON CITY -- Kathryn Werner, an attorney for the Police Protective Association, the union for Metro Police officers, has been named to the state Taxicab Authority, which regulates taxis in Clark County.
Gov. Kenny Guinn appointed Werner to replace Tom Hickey, who served the maximum two terms on the authority.
