West Las Vegas

Cystic Fibrosis
Several media celebrities, including columnist Kate Maddox from Las Vegas Weekly, have teamed up to paint a seven-foot Tiki that guests can bid on until 8 p.m. Sunday to support the Nevada chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at Red Robin, Decatur Boulevard at Sahara Avenue. Call 364-1858.
Sundaes galore

Pioneer Day

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District continues its summer reading program, "Paws & Celebrate Reading" with puppet shows, storytelling and surprise guests at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Yoga for children
