Joshua Lee Abrams

Joshua Lee Abrams, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born March 2, 1925, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 24 years, he as a retired men's clothier and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Guy Grand and Steve Abrams, both of Agoura Hills, Calif.; one daughter, Irene Chan of Las Vegas; and one sister, Lucille Abrams of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

American Cremation and Burial Services, 310 Foremaster Lane is handling arrangements.

Anna Bombara

Anna Bombara, 95, of Reseda, Calif., died Tuesday in Encino, Calif. She was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Italy. A former resident of Las Vegas for four years, she was a retired owner of Bombara Restaurans-Italino.

She is survived by three sons, Carlo J. Bombara Jr. of Arizona, Guiseppe Bombara of North Las Vegas and Mario Bombara of Las Vegas; one sister, Sadie Margolin of Reseda, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Harry J. Borup

Harry J. Borup, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 10, 1921, in Boise, Idaho. A Nevada resident for 52 years (22 years in Las Vegas), he was a retired soil scientist and a retired lieutenant colonel with the Army Corps of Engineers.

He is survived by his wife, Mary M.; two sons, Dale S. Borup and Brian G. Borup, both of Boise; one daughter, Portia C. Borup of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Borup of Spokane, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 6 p.m. service Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

Sammy Bouziden

Sammy Bouziden, 63, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 15, 1939, in Alva, Okla. A resident for nine years, he was a painter in construction.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; one son, Jan Bouziden, and one daughter, Amy Bouziden, both of Henderson; one brother, Eddie Bouzidin of Goodland, Kan.; three sisters, Kay Shaddy of Honolulu, June Beasley of Lone Star, Texas, and Georgia Liby of Colorado Springs, Colo.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1350 E. Pebble Road, Henderson. Burial will be private

Armando Alonso Brito

Armando Alonso Brito, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Mexico. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired owner of an import-export company.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia Obdulia; two sons, Michael Vincent Brito of Fallbrook, Calif., and Robert Brito of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; two daughters, Becky Rodriguez of Los Angeles and Linda McCoy of Coos Bay, Ore.; two sisters, Betty Ampudia of Los Angeles and Gladys Arkell of San Francisco; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

All services will be in California. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Joseph Campoli

Joseph Campoli, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Roscoe, Ill. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired truck driver and an Army veteran.

He is survived by numerous family members.

Dominick Anthony Concepcion and

Eric Concepcion

Dominick Anthony Concepcion, 26, and his brother, Eric Concepcion, 22, both of Las Vegas for more than three years, died Monday in Las Vegas. Dominick was born Oct. 9, 1975, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a salesman. Eric was born April 2, 1980, in Bayshore, N.Y., and was a student.

They are survived by their father and stepmother, Edgardo and Cynara Concepcion of Miami; their mother and stepfather, Jodie Focca-Pallango and Jefte Pallango, and their grandmother, Anna Marie Gonzalez, all of Henderson; and grandfather, Jorge Concepcion of New York.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

John L. Green

John L. Green, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 7, 1933, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for three years, he was retired from the Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; and one sister, Joan Thauvette of Yucaipa, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled 9-9:40 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Burial will be Monday at noon.

Earl H. Johnson

Earl H. Johnson, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1909, in Crowder, Okla. A resident for 60 years, he was an accountant at Allbright Business Machines, a member of the Lions Club and a Silver Beaver-Trailblazer with the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by one son, Wayne H. Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyo.; one daughter, Joann Whitaker of Las Vegas; one sister, Virginia Scoopmire of Behen, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Bunkers Mortuary chapel. Burial will be Memory Gardens.

Brian Wade Mosby

Brian Wade Mosby, 40, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 16, 1951, in Neosho, Mo. A resident for four years, he was an Air Force staff sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Karen A.; two daughters, Rebecca K. Mosby and Amanda G. Mosby, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Helen Osbourn of Overland Park, Kan.; his father, Don Mosby of Neosho, Mo.; one half-brother, Chris Mosby of Kennewick, Wash.; and one half-sister, Stacey Mosby of Joplin, Mo.

Steven W. Osterhoudt

Steven W. Osterhoudt, 35, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 5, 1967, in Las Vegas. A resident for 35 years, he was a an owner-operator of heavy equipment.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; one son, Colton Bailey Osterhoudt; two stepdaughters, Audrie White and Brittany White, both of Las Vegas; his father, Ralph T. Osterhoudt of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Lillian and John Hatch; one sister, Terri Lynn Reeves, and two brothers, James D. Osterhoudt and Darrell L. Osterhoudt, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS chapel, 8th Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Frank Rejholec

Frank Rejholec, 70, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for three years, he was a retired owner-operator of a refrigeration and air conditioning company.

He is survived by one son, Phil Rejholec of Henderson; one daughter, Valerie Foss of Mesa, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Frances E. Rumbaugh

Frances E. Rumbaugh, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 11, 1921, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 19 years, she was a bookkeeper for an auto parts company.

She was preceeded in death by one daughter, Donna Burrell.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clarence; two daughters, Patricia A. Gray of Las Vegas and Nancy Wallace of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and two sons, Robert Rumbaugh of West Covina, Calif., and Wayne Rumbaugh of Hemet, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Jorge 'Joy' Salas

Jorge "Joy" Salas, 39, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1962, in Mexico. A resident for eight years, he was a sheet-rock worker.

He is survived by his wife, Elba; one son, Jorge; two daughters, Georgina and Marianna; and three sisters, Marisala, Georgina and Rocio.

Services were scheduled Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Mexico.

June E. Stanley

June E. Stanley, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1919, in Cochise County, Ariz. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert Stanley of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cecil Tarrent

Cecil Tarrent, 73, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Colorado. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a construction worker, member of the American Legion and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; four sons, Jeff Tarrent of Washington state and Dave Tarrent, Tom Tarrent, and Cecil Tarrent, all of Colorado; two daughters, Lyla Schierle of Colorado and Cecila of California; one stepdaughter, Colette Pennington, and one sister, Beryl Hartsock, both of California; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

John Scott Vandegrift

John Scott Vandegrift, 42, of Las Vegas, died July 1 in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1960, in Germany. A resident for three years, he was a bartender.

He is survived by his father, Robert Vandegrift; his mother, Janet Kelley; and one brother, Randy Vandegrift.

Lillie Ann Walton

Lillie Ann Walton, 37, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 12, 1964, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her parents, Emmer Lee and Richard C. Hall Sr., and one sister, Lettie Rose Speed, all of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Rosie Lee McClinton of Oklahoma.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Roger Welsh

Roger Welsh, 66, of Las Vegas died June 21 in a local care center. He was born Sept. 18, 1935, in Montclair, N.J. An automobile salesman, he was a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his stepmother, Margaret Welsh; four brothers, Charles Welsh, James Welsh, Thomas Welsh and Joseph Welsh, all of New Jersey; six sisters, Beverly DeNonno of New York, Carol Todd and Margarite Iodice, both of Florida, and Margery Iodice, Robin Rohl of New Jersey and Denise Upp, all of New Jersey.

Graveside services were scheduled at 10:40 a.m. today in in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
