Allen Eugene Anderson
Allen Eugene Anderson, 36, of Las Vegas died June 23. He was born Dec. 22, 1965, in Wichita, Kan. He was an electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; four children, Erika Sarinana of Abilene, Texas, Savannah Anderson and Ashley Anderson, both of Bonnerdale, Ark., and Allen Michael "Mikey" Anderson of Las Vegas; his parents, Leonard and Lavona Anderson of San Angelo; four sisters, Diane Jones of Flagler Beach, Fla., Martie Frederick of Rockport, Texas, Ila Robison and Anita Nunez, both of San Angelo; three brothers, Robert Anderson and Joseph Anderson, both of San Angelo, and Walter Anderson of Sonora, Texas.
Shaffer Funeral Home, Bronte, Texas, is handling arrangements.
Ruth G. Andrews
Ruth G. Andrews, 91, of Nevada died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 18, 1910, in Stockbridge, N.Y. A resident for 47 years, she was a PBX operator.
She is survived by one son, Robert Andrews of Las Vegas; one brother, Bert Dewey of Florida; one sister, Lois Bew of Florida; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the LDS chapel, Stewart Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Pamela Gayle Beeman
Pamela Gayle Beeman, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 9, 1948, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 10 years, she was a bookkeeper and a member of Insurance Women of Las Vegas.
She is survived by two sons, David Beeman and Paul Beeman, both of California; two daughters, Briana Beeman of Nevada and Dawn Hanna of Illinois; one sister, Rema Brady of Nevada; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private.
Annie Marie Caple
Annie Marie Caple, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 2, 1921, in Little Rock. Ark. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired contractor.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Brushfield of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway.
Thomasina Deratany
Thomasina Deratany, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born May 30, 1912, in Boston.
She is survived by one son, David Deratany; and one daughter, Priscilla Duston of Henderson.

Toni R. Etemadi
Toni R. Etemadi, 39, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 4, 1962, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she worked at Mountain View Dental.
She is survived by one daughter, Alexandrea Etemadi; one son, Wesley Grillo; her father, Joseph Sandoval; two sisters, Elva Bressman and Francine Simpson, all of Las Vegas; and one grandson.

Millie Gohres
Millie Gohres, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. She was born July 14, 1930, in DeQueen, Ark. A resident for 16 years, she was a co-chairwoman for a charity foundation, co-founder of the Gohres Hohmann Foundation and was featured in the Top 100 Families of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, William L.; one son, Ronald W. Hungate of Las Vegas; two sisters, Esther Presson of Eagletown, Okla., and Linda Hughes of Horatio, Ark.; two brothers, Robert Hohmann of Houston and Charles Hohmann of Alma, Ark.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Charles Hirsch
Charles Hirsch, 89, of Las Vegas died July 3 in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1912, in New York City. A resident for 68 years, he was a retired accountant in the gaming industry.
He is survived by three nieces, Mary Jelley of Pipe Creek, Texas, Rosa Witesel of Des Moines, Wash., and Carolyn Bove of Yuma, Ariz.; and one nephew, Robert Meyers of Medford, Ore.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Patricia L. Mathis
Patricia L. Mathis, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1940, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 14 years, she was a hotel porter.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A.; two daughters, Sue Youngblood of Bakersfield, Calif., and Deborah Grumanday of California; four stepsons, Jack Mathis of Bakersfield, Donald Dwayne Mathis and Travis Ray Mathis, both of Arkansas, and Randy A. Mathis of Oklahoma; one sister, Jo Lacrone of Missouri; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Earlene R. Merix
Earlene R. Merix, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Dog Bluff, S.C. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired saleswoman.
She is survived by one son, Ray Lundy of Fair Bluff, N.C.; one brother, Poey Reynolds of Conway, S.C.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Robert Cole Pelgram
Robert Cole Pelgram, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1956, in California. A resident for five years, he was a construction company superintendent.
He is survived by his companion, Teresa Koch, and one stepdaughter, Jessica Bivona, both of Henderson.
A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Evelyn A. Sawyer
Evelyn A. Sawyer, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Waycross, Ga. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired government secretary and a member of the Black Gospel Theater Group.
She is survived by one sister, Dora Mae Taylor of Las Vegas.
Services will be noon Friday in Zion United Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Marion Mike Silvers
Marion Mike Silvers, 95, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 7, 1907, in Indiana. A resident for 30 years, he was a mechanic and a former Navy chief petty officer.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Marie Lyons of Las Vegas and Penny Joan Allington of California; three sons, Robert William Silvers of Henderson and John Travis Silvers and Michael Claude Silvers, both of California; 17 grandchildren; and more than 25 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 11:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mae Claire Terry
Mae Claire Terry, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 29, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, she was a secretary.
She is survived by one brother, Daniel Terry of Las Vegas.

Ralph Joseph Trotta Jr.
Ralph Joseph Trotta Jr., 44, of Henderson died Sunday in Nevada. He was born Oct. 22, 1957, in Nevada and was a sous chef for Kilauea Lodge and Becker Gaming.
He is survived by his companion, Dana Anderson; one son, Ralph Joseph Trotta III; two brothers, David Trotta of Nevada and Tony Trotta of Idaho; and one sister, Yicki Garispe of California.

Mary Alina Vallejo, 52, of Henderson. She was born Nov. 16, 1949, in San Francisco. A resident for 13 years, she worked in guest services at the Riviera for 10 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Athena Sanders of Beale Air Force Base, Calif.; one son, Louie Salazar of Las Vegas; her parents, Jose and Aurora Vallejo of San Francisco; three brothers, Silvio Arce of Shallow Water, Texas, Gustavo Vallejo of San Francisco and Pepe Vallejo of Vacaville, Calif.; two sisters, Elsa Greene of El Granada, Calif., and Vera Meyers of Daly City, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Reba Irene Winters
Reba Irene Winters, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A waitress, she was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Arkansas.
She is survived by one sister, Norma Harrison; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
