Seminar scheduled on identity theft
Metro Police Lt. Steve Franks will present an identification theft seminar from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Sun City Anthem Center, 2450 Hampton Road.
More than 50 cases of identity theft are reported to the Metro Fraud Unit, according to Franks.
The seminar will cover what the public can do to protect against ID theft.
Realtors, mortgage bankers and brokers, banking professionals, attorneys and law enforcement are encouraged to attend.

The final bidding for a giant tiki
that will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be 8 p.m. Sunday at the Red Robin restaurant, 2575 S. Decatur Blvd. The seven-foot tiki was painted by celebrity artists. For more information, call 364-1858.
Valley Outreach Synagogue
