Two brothers were found dead in their condominium Monday afternoon after a neighbor knocked on the door and failed to get a response, Metro Police said.
The two were found about 3 p.m. in the condo in the 5000 block of South Spencer Street after the neighbor looked through a window, saw one apparently injured on the floor and called police.
The two men, in their 20s, died from apparent gunshot wounds, Metro homicide Sgt. Ken Hefner said.
Their identities are being withheld until their family is notified, officers said.
There was no apparent motive in the slaying, officers said.
A wounded dog discovered inside the home was taken to a nearby animal hospital for treatment, Hefner said.
Anyone with information regarding the killings is urged to call Metro's Homicide Section at 229-3521.
