Irene S. Beehler
Irene S. Beehler, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Athens, Greece. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, Orinda Women's Club, Las Vegas Welcome Wagon and CASA Program and a graduate of Penn State University.
She is survived by her husband, Paul J.; one son, Paul A. Beehler of Orange, Calif.; one daughter, Stacy LePiere of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 4830 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Pamela Gayle Beeman
Pamela Gayle Beeman, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A bookkeeper and member of the Insurance Women of Las Vegas, she was born Aug. 9, 1948, in Shreveport, La.
She is survived by two sons, David Beeman of Torrance, Calif., and Paul Beeman of San Diego; two daughters, Briana Beeman of Las Vegas and Dawn Hanna of Beach Park, Ill.; one sister, Rema Brady of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Catherine M. Blankenship
Catherine M. Blankenship, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Hazelton, Pa. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by three daughters, Carmen Eckhardt of Las Vegas, Theresa Weisbecker of Anaheim, Calif., and Josephine Blankenship of Arizona; one son, John W. Blankenship Jr. of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Lewis Chapman
Lewis Chapman, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Belton, S.C. A resident for one year, he was a retired automotive painter at General Motors with 30 years of service, a member of the American Veterans in Detroit and the Santa Fe Station bowling league.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Lewis Chapman Jr. of Detroit and Kenneth Chapman of Las Vegas; two daughters, Carolyn Chapman of Detroit and Ella Mae Earle of Anderson, S.C.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Al Dolan
Al Dolan, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 14, 1921, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired accounts manager for a liquor distributor, a World War II Army veteran, a former employee of Bill Miller's Riviera in New Jersey, former bar manager at the Sahara, former executive bar manager at the International Hotel and retired from Southern Wine and Spirits.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, Alfred Dolan Jr., and one daughter, Barbara Dolan, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Palm. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Betty L. Drummond
Betty L. Drummond, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Ohio. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Dale Leonard of St. Louis; three daughters, Nancy Taulbee of Lubbock, Texas, Vicki Jury of Henderson and Teresa Hilt of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Ernest Dysinger
Ernest Dysinger, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 2, 1922, in Ohio. A resident for many years, he was a nursery man.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dysinger of Las Vegas.

Gregory S. Gidney
Gregory S. Gidney, 61, of Henderson died June 24 in Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 1941, in Michigan. A resident for many years, he was a laborer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Gregory S. Gidney II of Granbury, Texas; two sisters, Judy Richardson of Iowa, and Barbara Mulligan of Oklahoma; one brother, Richard Johnson of California; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Priscilla 'Pedie' Goodwin
Priscilla "Pedie" Goodwin, 60, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Los Angeles. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Las Vegas Country Club.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; one son, Greg Van Nort, and one daughter, Jill Tabanico, both of Phoenix; one brother, Wayne Upchurch of Kalama, Wash.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Marie Beatrice Govan
Marie Beatrice Govan, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 24, 1916, in Montreal. A resident for 13 years, she was in the real estate business.
She is survived by one daughter, Louise Govan Wilson of Monterey, Calif.; two sons, Robert Govan, M.D. of Alexandria, Ontario, and the Rev. John Govan S.J. of Guelph, Ontario; one brother, Andre Vandette of Dorval, Quebec; one sister, Therese Albert of Missouri; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be in Toronto. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Siegfried Lawrence Heintz II
Siegfried Lawrence Heintz II, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Indiana. A resident for 40 years, he was an automotive salesman and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Michael W. Heintz, Siegfried L. Heintz III and Robert Irving; five daughters, Michelle Heintz, Denise Hoffman, Leslie Wright, Beth Burke and Mary Burke; his mother, Dorothy Montgomery; one sister, Margaret Heintz; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Jorge Alejandra Salas Hernandez
Jorge Alejandra Salas Hernandez, 39, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1962, in Mexico. A resident for eight years, he was a sheet rock worker.
He is survived by his wife, Elba; one son, Jorge; two daughters, Georgina and Marianna; and three sisters, Marisela, Georgina and Rocio.
Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 7 p.m. service Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Mexico.
William H. Husbands
William H. Husbands, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 40 years, he was a mobile home transporter and a member of the European Motorcycle Owners Club.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, Craig Husbands of Las Vegas; two daughters, Heyde Sanders of Mount Pleasant, Utah, and Lynda Ramsey of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at noon today in the LDS Desert Sage Ward at Stewart Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Susan Cameron Kapcoe
Susan Cameron Kapcoe, 52, of of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born July 6, 1950, in Michigan. A resident for 24 years, she was a claims agent for an insurance company.
She is survived by her fiance, France; one daughter, Noelle Kelly of Michigan; brother, C. Pearson Gorham of Las Vegas; and one sister, Elizabeth Gorham of Washington state.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.

Judy Lu Ellis Kilmer
Judy Lu Ellis Kilmer, 60, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 22, 1941, in Nebraska. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired teacher and attended Las Vegas High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Shelly M. Corcoran, and one son, Arthur Ellis Jr., both of Henderson; and four grandchildren.

Juliana T. Kim
Juliana T. Kim, 70, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Maui, Hawaii. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; four sons, Alan Kim, Lester Kim, Walter Kim and David Kim; and four daughters, Charlene Kim, Susan Kim-Almer, Cindy Rochleau and Carole Kim-Petlin; and four grandchildren.

John C. 'Buddy' Krokus
John C. "Buddy" Krokus, 73, of Boulder City died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired member of the Federal Reserve board of governors.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Peter James Krokus of Boulder City; one daughter, Barbara Jean Chasmar of Hanford, Calif.; one sister, Ann Marie Williamson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; one brother, Robert Krokus of Virginia; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by graveside services at noon at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Leon R. McGeary Sr., 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Altoona, Pa. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired musician and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Dennis McGeary of Peoria, Ariz., Leon McGeary Jr. of Orland Park, Ill., and Jim Talaber of Las Vegas; one daughter, Janice Rutherford of Goleta, Calif.; one brother, Harold McGeary of Altoona; and five grandchildren.

Levi Walton Presley IV, 16, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Aug. 5, 1985, in Mesa, Ariz. A resident for 12 years, he was a student.
He is survived by his parents, Gail and Levi Presley III; two brothers, Sean Phillips and Seth Phillips, both of Seattle; and his two grandmothers, Nannie Presley of Lawton, Okla., and Lan Wiethoff of Jacksonville, Fla.

Cecil F. Roberts
Cecil F. Roberts, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Andover, S.D. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired chief engineer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Maria E.; two sons, Miguel R. Roberts and Jerry F. Roberts, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Maxine Bardessono of Yountville, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled noon-4 p.m. Sunday, with a 3 p.m. service in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Graveside services will follow at noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Alec Shatz
Alec Shatz, 76, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Los Angeles. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was an owner, operator and broker for a real estate and financial agency, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Barbara Fazio and Cheryl Bethy Shatz, both of Lafayette, Colo.; one sister, Rose Distenfield of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Diana Shikhelman
Diana Shikhelman, 16, died Saturday in Clark County. A student and a resident for 11 years, she was born Oct. 11, 1985, in Ukraine.
She is survived by her father, Micheal Bower; her mother, Irine; and one brother, Gary Shikhelman.
Services were scheduled at 12:30 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, followed by burial in Bunkers Eden Vale Memoria Park.
Ralph Joseph Trotta
Ralph Joseph Trotta, 44, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 22, 1957, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a sous chef for Kilauea Lodge and Becker Gaming.
He is survived by his companion, Dana Anderson; one son, Ralph Joseph Trotta III of Hawaii; one sister, Vicki Jarispe of California; two brothers, David Trotta of Nevada and Tony Trotta of Idaho; and one grandchild.
