Edna Yvonne L. Bartlett
Edna Yvonne L. Bartlett, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 23, 1911, in Encampment, Wyo. A resident for 80 years, she was a secretary at A.H. Harrington Insurance and a 1929 Las Vegas High School graduate, the last graduating class of the original school.
She is survived by one son, Bud Bartlett of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Janice Spencer of Las Vegas; one brother, Jonathan Lodwick of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
The family suggests donations to the Nevada SPCA, 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
Kathleen Brown
Kathleen Brown, 40, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 5, 1962, in California. A resident for 20 years, she was a secretary.
She is survived by her father, Robert Adams of Colorado; her mother and stepfather, Deanna and David Runyen, and one sister, Elizabeth Bluhm, all of Las Vegas.
Services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
Eufemio Carricarte
Eufemio Carricarte, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 20, 1921, in Cuba. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired pharmacist at a doctor's office and a Barbary Coast employee.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; one daughter, Marta Andreu, and one son, Jose Carricarte, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Richard Cooper
Richard Cooper, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 15, 1929, in Minnesota. A resident for 28 years, he was a table maker and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; and one granddaughter, Suzette Hammond of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Celmira Deandreade
Celmira Deandreade, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Roldanillo, Colombia. A resident for one year, she was a retired professor.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Risse of Las Vegas; three sisters, Leonor Murcillo of Cali, Colombia, Lia Murcillo of Los Angeles and Inez Sarasti of Maracaibo, Venezuela; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Mary Louise York Douthett
Mary Louise York Douthett, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. She was born in Paden, Okla. A former resident of Las Vegas for six years and most recently a resident of Boulder City for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Rene Anthony of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and Reneeta Anthony of Fresno, Calif.; one sister, Jewel Curtis of California; four brothers, Gene York, Fred York and Bob York, all of Oklahoma, and John York of Kansas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm-Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Carolyn E. Escobedo
Carolyn E. Escobedo, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 13, 1916, in Fort Wayne, Ind. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Beverely Becker and Cheryl Gray, both of Las Vegas, and Gail Mitchell of Rensselaer, Ind.; one son, Wayne Marvin of Tucson; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be private.
Carol E. Manzonie
Carol E. Manzonie, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Ely. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Lynn Massi of Henderson and Mary Deborah Manzonie of Las Vegas; one son, John W. Manzonie of Las Vegas; two sisters, Helen Roe and Marge Jones, both of Lucerne, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday with a service following at 2 p.m. in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Rosemary Naccarato
Rosemary Naccarato, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 3, 1919, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired data processor in the steel industry.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Mihelic and Randall M. Mihelic, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Lillian Barrick of Fontana, Calif., and Mildred Pavlitza of Gary.
Services will be in Merrillville, Ind. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Gene Schmitz
Gene Schmitz, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Dumont, Minn. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired contractor, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; two daughters, Debbie Herbert of Camarillo, Calif.; and Dede Aust of Kennewick, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Robert D. Webb
Robert D. Webb, 85, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Herald, Ill. A resident for four years, he was a retired machinist, an Army veteran and member of the Masons for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Loudine; one daughter, Patricia Bishop of Henderson; one sister, Virgina Brown of Peoria, Ill.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held in Illinois. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Charles F. Wells
Charles F. Wells, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born May 15, 1929, in Rochester, Ill. A resident for more than 10 years, he was a salesman for R&S Printing.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua and David; and one daughter, Roberta.
