Letter: Bush backers seal Yucca deal

So tell me, those of you who voted to send George W. Bush and other pro- nuclear Republicans to the White House and Congress: Are you surprised that the Yucca Mountain project passed and that the nation's nuclear waste will be dumped in Nevada?

You got what you voted for: the nuclear power industry's desire to continue producing this high-level nuclear waste by continued use of their power plants for high profits. Now that they have a place to dump the waste they create, there's no telling where it will end.

When the Yucca site is full where will it go next? Maybe in your back yard. Good luck to all of us.
