Genevieve Mary Louise Andrews
Genevieve Mary Louise Andrews, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 31, 1915, in Zurich, Kan. A resident for 42 years, she was a hotel hostess.
She is survived by one son, Donald R. Cole; two sisters, Georgia E. Benoit and Mary V. Brown, both of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Duane E. Benoit of Mesquite; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled 1-5 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Pecos Road. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Mausoleum.
Freddie L. Atkins
Freddie L. Atkins, 48, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Aug. 22, 1953.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammie L. Cooley of North Las Vegas and Shannell Cooley of Sandusky, Ohio; two sons, Fred J. Cooley of Phoenix and Preston Atkins of Fremont, Ohio; five brothers, Robert E. Arrington, William Arrington and Charles D. Gowdy, all of Sandusky, Mark A. Gowdy of Las Vegas and Curtis Gowdy of McRidan, Miss.; one sister, Bonnie C. Johnson of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Alma Billmyer
Alma Billmyer, 82, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 1, 1919, in New Jersey.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Stephen Billmyer of Henderson; two daughters, Carola Billmyer of Henderson and Barbara Billmyer of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
June Carbonniere
June Carbonniere, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, she was a president of an investment company.
She is survived by her husband, William; three sons, Michael Carbonniere of Los Angeles and Ron Carbonniere of Los Angeles; two brothers, Ernest Walker of Coarsegold, Calif., and Ivan Walker of Susanville, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Nicholas Joseph Elia Jr.
Nicholas Joseph Elia Jr., 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1936, in New York. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired security driver for Brinks, a member of the Italian American Club and the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Arisleyda; two sons, Nicholas and Raymond; two daughters, Natalie and Roxanna; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.
Patsie Mae Grant
Patsie Mae Grant, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 3, 1914, in Ward, Ala. A resident for two years, she owned a day care service for more than 20 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Eugenia Wiggins of Ontario, Calif.; one brother, Roosevelt Wideman of Los Angeles; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling private arrangements.
Robert M. Hamilton
Robert M. Hamilton, 74, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Detroit. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a trailer park.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Edward Joseph Kiefaber
Edward Joseph Kiefaber, 70, of Las vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1932, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 34 years, he was a real estate salesman.
He is survived by one son, Eric Dwayne Kiefaber of Las Vegas; one daughter, Gina Stein of Santa Barbara, Calif.

Glendene Jamieson
Glendene Jamieson, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Sterling, Colo. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker and a 1951 graduate of Umitilla High School in Oregon.
She is survived by her husband, William M.; three sons, W. Michael Jamieson of Las Vegas, Robert P. Jamieson of Radcliffe, Ky., and Brian R. Jamieson of San Bernardino, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Alex Owens
Alex Owens, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 29, 1915, in Louisiana. A resident for many years, he was a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sally; one son, Adrian Bread of Lusby, Md.; two daughters, Barbara Wilson of Houston and Cheryl Jackson of Lake Forest, Ill.; one stepson, Kevin Troy Cook; one brother, Curtis Owens, and one special cousin, Rebecca Bingham, both of Los Angeles; four goddaughters, Frances Wesley, Bessie Evans, Asialee Harris and Geneva Williams; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Saturday in the Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Graveside services will be at noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Agnes B. Perry
Agnes B. Perry, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Reading, Pa. A resident for eight years, she was a retired professor.
She is survived by one son, Harry Perry of Venice, Calif.; two daughters, Karen Perry of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Marillin Perry of Seattle; five brothers; four sisters; and two grandchildren.
Services will be in Detroit. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Stella Schoepf
Stella Schoepf, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 30, 1914, in Garden Plain, Kan. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, R.W. Bill Schoepf of Las Vegas; one daughter, Jolene Maner of Dallas; three sisters, Mildred Darrow of Washington state, Ruby Tonn of Kansas and Ruth Selle of Oregon; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Kathleen Audrey Spetrini
Kathleen Audrey Spetrini, 46, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 6, 1959, in Henderson. A resident for five years, she was a hospital nurse's aide.
She is survived by one son, Daniel F. Spetrini of Tucson; and one daughter, Michelle A. Mazzella of Warwick, R.I.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Cranston, R.I. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Masayukai Tateishi
Masayukai Tateishi, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Honolulu. A resident for seven years, she was a retired subcontractor in the poultry industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, June; one son, Michael Tateishi of Kissimmee, Fla.; one daughter, Joyce Tateishi-Caplan of Pittsburgh; two stepsons, Cris Graffa of Lancaster, Calif., and Russell Graffa of Las Vegas; two sisters, Hope Toyofuku of Honolulu and Rae Arakaki of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.

Missouri Tucker
Missouri Tucker, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born May 28, 1961, in Sondheimer, La. A resident for 13 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by two sons, David Tucker and Steven tucker, both of California; six daughters, Lucille Childs of North Las Vegas, Teresa Randolph, Texanner Byron and Julia Parsons, all of Las Vegas, and Mary Philipps and Patricia Tucker, both of California; seven brothers, Willie Burrell, George Burrell, Captain Burrell, Cleother Burrell, James Goodall, Charles Lake and Robert Burrell, and five sisters, Alvera Beals, Mary Brown, Lennie Wattree, Lena Williams and Barbara Burrell, all of Las Vegas; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St.
Lawrence Walch
Lawrence Walch, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 12, 1930, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was retired from Hostess Cake and the Port Huron, Mich., school district.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, Lawrence Walch of Burton, Mich., and David Walch of Las Vegas; one daughter, Rachael Marie Ferguson of Denver; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

William Weiler
William Weiler, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1927, in Lisbon, N.D. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired repairman for an office machine company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by four daughters, Janna Smith of Las Vegas, Teresa Hernandez of Henderson, Lillian Grimshaw of Warrens, Wis., and Tonya Weiler of Rosamond, Calif.; one son, William Weiler Jr. of Rosamond; his longtime companion, Virginia Morin of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Delores "Tudy" Dick of San Antonio; three brothers, Donald Weiler of Saco, Maine, Scott Weiler of Mayville, N.D., and Walter Weiler of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Sherl L. Winkle
Sherl L. Winkle, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday. He was born June 1, 1949. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired casino floorman and Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Annette Agundez of Astoria, Ore., and Christina Hekkert and April Chuhran, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Irene Henderson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Jan Stumpf and Shirley Barton, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Gerald Wilkle of Lower Lake, Calif., Joseph Winkle of Hurricane, Utah, and Kenneth Winkle of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
