Edwin 'Ned' Adamson

Edwin "Ned" Adamson, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 47 years, he owned a law firm, was a founding member of Paradise Valley Country Club and past president of the Lions Club.

William Joseph Arnold

William Joseph Arnold, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Bogalusa, La. A resident for 14 years, he retired as a meat cutter after 45 years and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; one daughter, Lynda Silverman of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Walter Arnold of St. Augustine, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Richard William Barrett

Richard William Barrett, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A propane business owner, he was born Aug. 4, 1930, in North Dakota.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine.

Olga Raquel Bellamy

Olga Raquel Bellamy, 76, of Las Vegas died July 2 in a local health care center. She was born March 11, 1926, in Brawley, Calif. A resident for 30 years, she owned Bel-Ami Nutrition Store, was a retired actress/dancer and teacher and was a DWS leader.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindy, Michaelina and Melodie, and five sons, Tony, Reno, Bo, Mark and James Jr., all of Las Vegas; one brother, John, and six sisters, Carmen, Marylou, Vera, Aurora, Rosemarie and Norma, all of California; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 9:45 a.m. Monday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Brendon Bing

Brendon Bing, 25, of Henderson died Saturday. He was a resident of two years. An electrician, he was born Nov. 21, 1976, in Sterling, Colo.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; one daughter, Aubreana Bing, and one son, Bobby Bing, both of Henderson; his parents, Robert and Dawn Bing of Littleton, Colo., and Diane and Wayne Meyer of Henderson; three sisters, Sophia Espinoza of Henderson, Wendy Paul of Frederick, Colo., and Waneta Perkins of Saulk Rapids, Minn.; and three brothers, Michael Bing of Anza, Calif., David Meyer of Hudson, Wis., and Darin Meyer of Pinewood, Minn.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Robert Harry Brown Sr.

Robert Harry Brown Sr., 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Kremmling, Colo. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a real estate broker, a veteran of the National Guard, coached Little League and was a member of the Optimists, Kiwanis and co-founded Venice Boys Club and was president of a homeowners' association.

He is survived by two sons, Robert H. Brown Jr. of Port Angeles, Wash., and Kenneth Lee Brown of Henderson; two daughters, Margie Neeley of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Nancy Skoff of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Prince and Stewart chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

William D. Daniels

William D. Daniels, 77, of Boulder City died Thursday in Boulder City. He was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Turlock, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired design engineer in the aerospace industry, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion, Naval Reserve Association, Reserve Officers Association and Loaners on Wheels.

He is survived by one daughter, Lana D. Campbell of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; one son, Mark D. Daniels of Oxnard, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Darwin W. Danielson

Darwin W. Danielson, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 9, 1928, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired plumber and pipefitter and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Lane, Kimberly Raduenz and Sue Ellen Stevenson, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Tootie Skingley of Wisconsin and Virginia Dunn of St. Petersberg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Marilyn W. Dawes

Marilyn W. Dawes, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Texas. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one half-sister, Betty Helms of Tyler, Texas.

Marie R. Edgerly, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 10, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

Maude P. Geertsema

Maude P. Geertsema, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 24, 1917, in Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 18 years, she was a Nevada state social worker, a member of Order of the Eastern Star Goldfield Chapter, DAR Valley of Fire Chapter, Gamma Phi Beta National Sorority and the Junior League.

She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Geertsema Brende of Henderson; one sister, Doris Sumner of Reno; and three grandchildren.

Beverly Eloise Grenier

Beverly Eloise Grenier, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 20, 1925, in York, Pa. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired supervisor for a credit card company and a member of MENSA.

She is survived by one son, Harry; four daughters, Constance, Vicki, Linda and Beverly; one sister, Adele; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Stacia Kerzetski

Stacia Kerzetski, 85, of Las Vegas and Fairfield, Conn., died Sunday in a Bridgeport, Conn., hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Perth Amboy, N.J. A Las Vegas snowbird, she was a former employee of Revlon Corp., and the Perth Amboy Board of Education.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Hurley of Fairfield; three sons, Charles J. Kerzetski and Richard R. Kerzetski, both of Las Vegas, and Gerald K. Kerzetski of Marlton, N.J.; two sisters, Helen Maslak of Pennsylvania and Sonia Kochbarski of Forked River, N.J.; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Alan Craig Lemley

Alan Craig Lemley, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1948, in Pittsburgh. A resident for five years, he was an owner-operator of an air conditioning firm.

He is survived by his father, Clarence K. Lemley, and one brother, Ty Lemley, both of Las Vegas.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Isabel Selina Lopez

Isabel Selina Lopez, 37, of Las Vegas, died Friday in Sandy Valley. She was born Sept. 13, 1964, in Arizona. A resident for 33 years, she was a retail clerk.

She is survived by one daughter, Sasha Lorraine Lopez; her parents, Frances Ogas and Arnold Lopez; and three sisters, Frances Nunez, Analisa Lopez and Nina Raquel Lopez.

Visitation was scheduled from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. services today at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Eugene R. McCoy

Eugene R. McCoy, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 17, 1925, in Holstein, Neb. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired bank vice president, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a lifetime member of the Elks, past president of the YMCA, National Kidney Foundation and Las Vegas Executives Association.

He is survived by his wife, Alice G.; two sons, Richard L. McCoy of Reno and Dennis E. McCoy of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dione A. Massa of Las Vegas; two brothers, Dale E. McCoy of Loveland, Colo., and Jack L. McCoy of Valley Springs, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bruce A. Moats, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1914, in Uniontown, Pa. A resident for 23 years, he was in the aircraft industry and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary.

Myrtle Edna Moritz

Myrtle Edna Moritz, 80, of Westfir, Ore., died Sunday in Westfir. She was born April 20, 1922, in Hurley, N.M. A former resident of Henderson, 1951-1995, she was a hospital dietitian.

She is survived by one son, Eugene Moritz of Westfir; one daughter, Kathy Fuller of Sun Valley, Calif.; one sister, Sarah Grimes of Lakewood, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

William Joseph Peterson, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 18, 1935, in Belvidere, Ill. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Navy chef who served for 20 years and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann; two daughters, Cathy Lauricella of Chino Hills, Calif., and Elizabeth Siperly of Palmdale, Calif.; one son, Michael Peterson of Las Vegas; one brother, Charles Peterson of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Lou Wingard of Roseburg, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Denise E. Rath

Denise E. Rath, 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 13, 1959, in Medford, Ore. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired cosmetic representative.

She is survived by her husband, Bill T.; one daughter, Melissa Angen, and two sons, Wilbert Rath and Joshua Rath, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Claudette Goodwin of San Diego; and two grandchildren.

Stephen F. Romeo, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1925, in Brockway, Pa. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired teacher and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Kim Marie McIntyre of Fort Worth, Texas, Valerie Anne Romeo and Sandy L. Garland, both of Las Vegas, and Jan Michelle Morrissey of Dixon, Ill.; two sons, William J. Romeo and John Anthony Romeo, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Cecelia Anne Romeo of St. George, Utah; one brother, Dr. Donald J. Romeo of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Jacqueline Marie Ross, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for eight years, she was born March 15, 1927, in Chicago.

She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Marie Bagus of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Ward of California; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; four daughters, Kathi Beringer of Moreno Valley, Calif., Kelley Cox of Henderson and Kym Matson and Rebecca Sanchez, both of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Sanchez Jr. of Las Vegas; her father, Charles Dunmead of LaMirada, Calif.; one brother, Kenneth Dunmead of Diamond Bar, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Maury Soss

Maury Soss, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born April 30, 1913, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 70 years, he was a retired clothing store owner-operator, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Nevada Council of the Arts.

He is survived by one son, David A. Soss of Salt Lake City; and two grandchildren.

Patricia Ann Terlizzese

Patricia Ann Terlizzese, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 10, 1941, in New York. A resident for 13 years, she was a hairdresser.

She is survived by her husband, George; and one brother, Albert Valinoti.

Wayne Thomas Trotter

Wayne Thomas Trotter, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 16, 1917, in Las Vegas. A resident for 35 years, he was a hotel carpenter and a Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Delma H. Trotter.

He is survived by his wife, Beth; one daughter, Susan T. Sullivent of Las Vegas; four sons, Thomas M. Trotter of Henderson and Dan Trotter, Terry W. Trotter and Dr. Kurt W. Trotter, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Stanley H. Trotter of Goshen, Utah; one sister, Ferl Dillenback of Orem, Utah; 21 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Ralph Wakefield

Ralph Wakefield, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 22, 1923, in Minnesota. A resident for 24 years, he was a carpenter, a World War II veteran and a longtime member of the Carpenters Union.

He is survived by his wife, Valentine; four sons, Thomas Wakefield of Henderson, Robert Wakefield of Minnesota, and Richard Wakefield and Gene Wakefield, both of California; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
