Letter: Bush and his pals fleecing us all

After the uproar concerning Martha Stewart making $200,000 from insider trading, I wonder if President Bush will get the same response for collecting $850,000 doing the same thing.

We will all wait for the call for Congress to appoint a special investigator to clear the air. Considering the millions spent on Whitewater to find nothing, I am sure Ken Starr and his team would like to look into Mr. Bush's finances.

While the team is doing this, they may want to look at Vice President Dick Cheney cashing in $40 million before his company went bust. None of this will happen.

Except for a few grumblings, Mr. Teflon will remain pure and lily white. After all, he has restored dignity to the White House. He will wave the flag and say a prayer while his corporate buddies fleece all of us. His daddy taught him well.
