Leticia S. Bernardo

Leticia S. Bernardo, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1936, in the Philippines. A resident for seven years, she was a teacher.

She is survived by five daughters, Remedio Agsaway, Silahis Marcos and Mercedes Adriano, all of the Philippines, Rosario Victorio of New York City and Silangan Lunsford of Las Vegas; three sons, Reggie Bernardo of Los Angeles and Reynaldo Bernardo and Liwanag Bernardo, both of the Philippines; and 19 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Willyne Bonn

Willyne Bonn, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Sun City Pan Club.

She is survived by her husband, Irving; three daughters, Julia Kaplan and Lainy Beitler, both of Seattle, and Jana Merhej of San Fernando Valley, Calif.; two sons, Ronald Kaplan of Aptos, Calif., and Richard Kaplan of San Fernando Valley; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

The family suggests donations to the City of Hope, 5600 W. Spring Mountain Road, Suite 208, Las Vegas, NV 89146.

John B. Byers

John B. Byers, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Indianapolis. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a retired aggregate consultant and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Donna F.; two daughters, Leslie Gonyea of Atlanta and Gabrielle Byers of Madison, Wis.; three stepsons, Barry Brown of Bloomington, Ind., Mark Brown of Denver and Jay Cisinsky of San Diego; one stepdaughter, Lara Northern of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Edmand A. Durka

Edmand A. Durka, 79, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Nov. 16, 1922, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was an inspector at an automobile company for 15 years, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and an Army veteran for three years.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Terry Durka of Pahrump; one brother, John Durka, and one sister, Valerie Nieazala, both of Ohio; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled 10 a.m. today in Grandview Cemetery, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, is handling arrangements.

Richard H. Hybarger

Richard H. Hybarger, 73, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 1, 1928, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 12 years, he owned R.H. Electric for 12 years and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne; two daughters, Paula Pudwill of Las Vegas and Pamela Freeman, and one sister, Patricia Messer, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

Ysidro E. Jimenez

Ysidro E. Jimenez, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Durango, Mexico. A resident for six years, he was a mechanic for McDonnell Douglass.

He is survived by two sons, Allen Jimenez and Richard Jimenez; one daughter, Yolanda M. Matzie; two brothers, Robert Jimenez and Angel Jimenez; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Salvatore R. Latona

Salvatore R. Latona, 72, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. He was born April 13, 1930, in Milwaukee. A resident for seven years, he was a retired dispatcher for an automotive manufacturer.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline A.; one son, Michael A. Latona of Park Forest, Ill.; one daughter, Lisa M.Latona of Las Vegas; one brother, Dominic Latona of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.

Walloch Funeral Home, 4309 S. 20th, Milwaukee, WI 53221, is handling all services. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling local arrangements.

David John Musall

David John Musall, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 3, 1955, in Detroit. A resident for two years, he was a self-employed electrician and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; one daughter, Alexandria Eck of Las Vegas; two sons, David Musall and Matthew Musall, both of Indiana; his father, Leonard Musall of Arizona; and two brothers, Mike Musall of Pahrump and Dennis Musall of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at 391 W. Hallsway, Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, is handling arrangements.

Robert Daniel Paule

Robert Daniel Paule, 19, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Prescott, Ariz. He was born March 26, 1983, in Las Vegas. A resident for 19 years, he was a cemetery maintenance man.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Becky Carrington, two sisters, Tiffany Carrington and Felicia Carrington, and four brothers, Terry Carrington, Denny Carrington, Eric Carrington and Mitchell Carrington, all of Mesa, Ariz.; and his grandparents, Daniel and Bobbi Paule, and Steve Bortz, all of Las Vegas and Calvin and Peggy Carrington of Kiln, Miss.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Albert Lee Ross

Albert Lee Ross, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for 48 years, he was an operating engineer at the Nevada Test Site, an Army veteran and a member of the International Operating Engineers Union.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; four sons, Tim Ross, Ron Slack, Roger Slack and Kenneth Parker; one daughter, Sharon Cole; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Margaret P. 'Patty' Runyon

Margaret P. "Patty" Runyon, 54, of Sandy Valley died Tuesday. She was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Miles City, Mont. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker and a greeter at Gipsy Nightclub.

She is survived by her husband, Robert B.; three sons, Kyle R. Runyon and Jason M. Runyon, both of Las Vegas, and Lincoln Runyon of Sandy Valley; one brother, James Egan of Kerrville, Texas; one sister, Gloria Anderson of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 7-10 p.m. Saturday at 46 Innisbrook Ave. in Spanish Trail, west gate. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Rene Soldinger

Rene Soldinger, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 30, 1919, in London. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; three daughters, Carol Hall, Linda Blake and Rachel English, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Joyce Dickerson and Florence Rann, both of London; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will follow in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery.

I.R. 'Russell' Speer

I.R. "Russell" Speer, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Clifton, N.J. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired casino host and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Lee A. Williamson of Las Vegas; one daughter, Lynn Speer of Shandelee, N.Y.; and two sons, William Speer of Wayne, N.J., and Robert Speer of Monticello, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4519 Simmons St., North Las Vegas. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

James S. Spicuzza

James S. Spicuzza, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1940, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired owner-operator of an automotive shop and coached for the National Junior Basketball League.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Kari Lynn Spicuzza and Christine N. Spicuzza, and one son, Jimmy R. Spicuzza, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Carmella Giordano of Orland Park, Ill., and Carol Pappalardo of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

John A. 'Sully' Sullivan

John A. "Sully" Sullivan, 68, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Seattle. A resident for 43 years, he was a casino floorman and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Brenda Bullock of Las Vegas and Mara Williams of Henderson; one son, John A. Sullivan Jr. of Henderson; one sister, Patricia Draper of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Sullivan of Monroe, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Mara Zieglar

Mara Zieglar, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1921, in Austria. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Lola, Maria and Susie; and one grandchild.
