Computer skills classes offered
The Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is offering residents the opportunity to increase their skills and knowledge through a variety of computer home-study courses called "Education to Go," with sessions running from Wednesday through Aug. 16.
Registration ranges from $38 to $76, depending on the course.
Each interactive online course includes 12 lessons with quizzes plus one final exam. New classes are posted each Wednesday and Friday.

A Dance and Dive Contest
will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Von Tobel Pool, 2436 N. Pecos Road. Judges will rate contestants on a short dance routine, followed by a creative dive related to their dance. The event includes prize money sponsored by Aqua-Air Systems & the "Rainbow," and other prizes by Findlay Toyota. Call David Perkins at 732-4485 or 455-7625.
