A longtime Las Vegas advertising executive has acquired a business license through the city of Las Vegas.

Tim Quillin, former vice president of marketing with Hall Communications, has received a license under the name of Q Advertising and Public Relations.

Quillin, who had sold his company to Hall but later left over differences with Hall, said he is "looking into a lot of things, including opening up my own agency again."

Separately, former Mandalay Resort Group marketing executive Bill Doak has joined Kirvin Communications Group as a partner and the firm was renamed Kirvin Doak Communications.
