Letter: Nevada Power should pay

I don't know how other Las Vegans feel, but I'm really proud of the Nevada Athletic Commission's treatment of the "Tyson Affair." This low-life doesn't deserve to make any money in our city, and our city shouldn't prostitute itself for the sake of $100 million or even $100 billion.

I only hope the Public Utilities Commission has the guts displayed by the Nevada Athletic Commission to stand up to Nevada Power and do the right thing for the people of our state. If Nevada Power can afford to pay its shareholders a dividend, they can afford to suck up the expenses incurred by their bad business decisions.

By the way, I am a shareholder of Nevada Power.
