Elizabeth J. Bondurant
Elizabeth J. Bondurant, 81, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Downer, Minn. A resident for 57 years, she was a retired metallurgist for a titanium producer and a lifetime member of the Henderson Women's Bowling Association.
She is survived by two sons, David Bondurant and Gary Bondurant, both of Henderson; two sisters, Dorthy Lein of Minnesota and Betty Kramer of Henderson; three brothers, LaMont Henry, Ned Henry and David Henry, all of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Dolores Caldwell
Dolores Caldwell, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 4, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, she was a retired customs inspector for the U.S. Customs Service.
She is survived by two sons, Klaus Caldwell of Spring, Texas, and Norman Caldwell of Dallas; one brother, Ellis Boyd of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Gloria Weston of Milwaukee; and three grandsons.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Houston. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Helen M. Cohen
Helen M. Cohen, 89, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born June 15, 1912, in Camillus, N.Y. A resident for four years, she was a retired sales clerk.
She is survived by one son, Bill Dotterer of Las Vegas; one stepson, Richard Cohen, and one brother, John Purcell, both of Syracuse, N.Y.; one sister, Dorothy Dederick of Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Lucy Thompson Deaner
Lucy Thompson Deaner, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Advance, Ind. A resident for 55 years, she was a homemaker, a member of PEO, Assistance League and National Association of Legal Secretaries and past president of the American Red Cross.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David Deaner and Douglas Deaner.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Rodney Lee Geist
Rodney Lee Geist, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A carpenter, he was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Montana.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of Miles City, Mont.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Miles City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
John Stephan 'Jack' Granowski
John Stephan "Jack" Granowski, 23, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1948, in Owatonna, Minn. A resident for 23 years, he was a race and sports book manager.
He is survived by one son, John Thorpe Granowski of Minnesota; and one brother, Mark Granowski of Hopkins, Minn.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Minnesota. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.
Dick Harp
Dick Harp, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1917, in Springdale, Ark. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired bread salesman, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by one daughter, Judy Auer Coder, and two sons, Daniel Harp and Kenny Harp, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Clyde Harp of California; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Mary Louise Harris
Mary Louise Harris, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 1, 1914, in Rockford, Ohio. A resident for 28 years, she was a secretary and bookkeeper for Gilson Manufacturing Co. of Wisconsin and Las Vegas Temps, a member of Catholic Daughters, Organist Guild, Catholic Women's Guild, a church organist and choir member of Guardian Angel Cathedral.
She is survived by five sons, Matthew Harris of Accokeek, Md., the Rev. George Harris CSV of Arlington Heights, Ill., Michael Harris of Mesquite, David Harris of Kankakee, Ill., and the Rev. Daniel Harris CM of Camarillo, Calif.; one sister, Betty Snyder of Laguna Hills, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Glenda S. Hightower
Glenda S. Hightower, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 16, 1942, in Bell Gardens, Calif. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired Mirage waitress.
She is survived by her soul mate, Dale Robb, one son, Rick Robb, one daughter, Tammy Cross, two sisters, Linda Atchley and Peggy Pulse, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Eva Lee Kelly
Eva Lee Kelly, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 20, 1929, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 42 years, she was a retired property agent.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Godfrey and Shelley Haggerton, both of Las Vegas; one son, Steve Hansen of Boulder City; two stepdaughters, Juanita Walmsley and Rita Steik, both of Seattle; one brother, Clifford Deas of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Christian Center, 571 Adams Blvd., Boulder City. A private burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Irene Dorothy Kiluk
Irene Dorothy Kiluk, 74, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Sharon, Pa. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired sales associate.
She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Sr.; two daughters, Michelle Favella of Henderson and Mary Donnell of South Pasadena, Calif.; one son, Frank J. Kiluk Jr. of San Dimas, Calif.; one sister, Helen Lazor of Sharon; one brother, Steven Lazor of Grove City, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Robert Russell LaVigne
Robert Russell LaVigne, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, he was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheri Blair and Candy Foster, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Phyllis Grose of Traverse City, Mich., and Eleanor Bartholemew of Holiday, Fla.; and one stepbrother, Clyde Heaton of Clinton, Mich.
Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Alan Frank Joseph Learn
Alan Frank Joseph Learn, 45, of Henderson died Jan. 14 in a local hospital. An iron industry welder and veteran, he was born Nov. 11, 1956, in New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife, Johnette Scott-Learn, and one son, Richard Brown, both of Henderson.
Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.
Murray Vernon Looper Jr.
Murray Vernon Looper Jr., 48, of Golden Valley, Ariz., died Jan. 14 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1953, in California, and was a minister and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda; four sons, Joshua Looper, Jonathon Looper and Jeremiah Looper, all of Golden Valley, and Murray Looper III of Kent, Wash.; four daughters, Shannon Looper of Kent and Rachel Looper, Rebekah Looper and Sarah Looper, all of Golden Valley; his mother, Helen Eva Head; two brothers, Bill Looper of Phoenix and Mike Looper of Grass Valley, Calif.; four sisters, Beth Gardner of Las Vegas, Jeanne Petersen and Cindy Riley, both of Bellingham, Wash., and Debra Richards of Yuma, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
Graveside services were scheduled at 9:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, handled arrangements.
Leo Maldonado Jr.
Leo Maldonado Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 12, 1944, in Puerto Rico. A resident for eight years, he was a manager of Worldwide Flight Services.
He is survived by his wife, Karen J.; one daughter, Vannessa J. Maldonado of Las Vegas; his father, Leonides Maldonado, and one sister, Carmen Rosa Torres, both of Puerto Rico.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Frances R. Martinez, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Belize. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Kelvin Cacho of Las Vegas; two brothers, Fredrick Flores of Belize and Matthew Flores of Chicago; one sister, Georigana Ramirez of New York; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services. A private burial will follow.

Dolores May Merryman, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 15, 1930, in Missoula, Mont. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy; one daughter, Michelle Jaramillo of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his parents, Chris and Deanne Miller of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Bob and Carla Swift of Las Vegas and Steve and Verda Miller of Sheridan, Wyo.; his great-grandparents, Jack and Alice Miller of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Lawrence and Maybell Burton of Millville, Utah, Yvonne Lyon of Provo, Utah, Maurine Swift of Salt Lake City; and his step-great-grandmother, Helen Swift of Leeper, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Rita; two daughters, Janet Martin and Jill Dawn Davis, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Margurett Urbancic of Texas and Ann Dobal of Maryland; two brothers, George Puskarich of Washington state and Joseph Puskarich of Texas; and five grandchildren.

Clare V. Sikora, 66, of Boulder City died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1935, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired licensed practical nurse at a hospital, an employee for 16 years with the Bureau of Reclamation at Hoover Dam and active in the Knights of Columbus.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; two daughters, Mary Kay Salmon of Center Line, Mich., and Suzanne C. Sikora of Boulder City; one sister, Christine Peplinski of Warren, Mich.; two brothers, Gerry Hoffman of Canton, Mich., and Richard Hoffman of Taylor, Mich.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and 2-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 6:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Marjorie Z. Sullivan, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1924, in Los Angeles. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Order of the Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 18 and Jobs Daughters Bethel 1.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Potter of Las Vegas; one brother, Paul Zahn of Belgium; one sister, Sally Hartman of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in California.

She is survived by her husband, Casey Laub; two sons, Rick Kiser and Ryan Kiser, her mother, Lorene Shull, one brother, David Tharp, and three sisters, Sherri McLaughlin, Jerri Esposito and Carri Clemens, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
