Transportation operators sue state over rulings

Angelo's All American Luxury Transportation sued to force the Transportation Services Authority (TSA) to approve its application to operate as a licensed limousine operator in Nevada.
Angelo's said the TSA's denial was "in violation of constitutional or statutory provisions and in excess of the statutory authority of the agency."
But the TSA said Angelo is advertising in the Sprint Las Vegas telephone directory even though it isn't licensed, a situation it called "questionable at best, intentionally deceptive and illegal at worst." The TSA also said it had problems with Angelo's financial projections.
Separately, Desert Cab Inc., which provides taxicab services in Laughlin, sued to force the TSA to deny Stardust Limousine's application to provide charter service in Laughlin.
TSA officials could not be reached for comment on that suit.
