StumbleUNLV women open season in Texas

The UNLV women's track & field team opens its indoor season today in the Texas Tech Open at Lubbock, Texas.
Coached by Karen Dennis in her 10th year at the helm, the Rebels are led by sprinter Michele Davis. She was the Mountain West Conference's Athlete of the Year in 2001.
Other UNLV returnees are high jumpers Tianika Sharieff and Christine Spence and triple jump specialists Tiffany Smith and Belisa Suarez.
