Hot springs hike highlights program

Guided hikes and informative talks are offered by the Lake Mead National Recreation Area free at the park's Alan Bible Visitor Center northeast of Boulder City. Reservations are required for the guided hikes. Call 293-8990. Upcoming programs:

Arizona Hot Springs Hike: A six-mile hike beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday through scenic White Rock Canyon to the hot springs near the Colorado River.

South Bowl of Fire Hike: A five-mile moderate hike beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday leading to rock formations and numerous wildlife viewing opportunities.

Seventh and eighth graders

will gather 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Pavilion at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for the regional finals of the 2002 National Engineers Week Future City Competition, one of 29 regional competitions taking place nationwide involving 950 schools and 30,000 students. Call (212) 967-8200.

The Princeton Review,

An interfaith worship service

Immunizations

Health District Immunization clinics are open each week in Southern Nevada. Most immunizations are provided without charge to children and young adults under the age of 19 in any of four public health centers and 12 immunization clinics. All Health District offices will be closed Monday in observation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. These clinics will be open Tuesday through Jan. 27:
