Richard Julian Archer, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 23, 1947, in England. A resident for seven years, he was an assistant director of art for an electric sign company.
He is survived by his wife, Desiree; one daughter, Peanut Archer of Las Vegas; two brothers, Gordon Archer of Florida and Barry Archer of England; and one sister, Julie Walls of England.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
Clarion Raymond 'Whitey' Brown
Clarion Raymond "Whitey" Brown, 83, of Anchorage, Alaska, died Wednesday in an Alaska hospital. He was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Wildrose, N.D. A former Las Vegas resident for many years, he was a long-distance truck driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol Wilkings; one sister, Myrtle Carlson; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Gloria Janice Chapa
Gloria Janice Chapa, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Kentucky. A resident for 40 years, she was a cocktail waitress.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa R. Schindler of Las Vegas; one son, John Chapa of Henderson; one sister, Rhonda Thacker of Dayton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Richard Wyness Colston Jr., 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 15, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a plumbing salesman.
He is survived by one son, Richard Wyness Colston III, one daughter, Danielle Cathleen Colston, his parents, E. Rosine and Richard W. Colston Sr., and two sisters, Sandi Noyola and Lori Colston-Noyola, all of Las Vegas.

Robert James Adams, 32, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 17, 1969, in New York City. A resident for six months, he was a security officer at the MGM Grand.
He is survived by one son, Alexander Adams of Wyoming; two daughters, Amanda Adams of Wyoming and Aliyssa Adams of Nevada; his parents, Robert Lee Adams and Evangelina F. Vargas, and two brothers, Matthew Vargas and Nicholas Vargas, all of California; and two sisters, Eva Garr of Nevada and Anita Dann of Arizona.

Dorothy O. Deller, 66, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born July 4, 1935, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ross R.; two sons, Rose Deller III of Henderson and Keith Deller of North Las Vegas; two daughters, Denise Carr-Deller of Henderson and Roxane Dobson-Deller of Richmond, Va.; three brothers, Mario DiMartini and Anthony DiMartini, both of Pittsburgh and H. Louis DiMartini of Las Vegas; one sister, Virginia Pruitt of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Virginia Duval, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 11, 1924, in Detroit. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Nancy Duval-Courtney and Melody Duval, both of Las Vegas; five sisters, Betty Gonyeau and Bertha Martindale, both of Windsor, Ontario, Ann Marie Lloyd of Gladwater, Texas, Rose Marie Coleman of Michigan and Alana Padgen of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Patricia A. Frank, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1934, in Cincinnati. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the AAUW and the Republican Women's Club.

Haskell M. Frandsen, 71, of Laughlin died Saturday in Laughlin. He was born Feb. 23, 1930, in Nebraska. A resident for 14 years, he was a maintenance worker at the Riverside hotel-casino, a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, 4-H leader, Cub Scout den leader and active in the Foster Parents Program.
He is survived by his wife, Leota S.; two sons, Kyle Frandsen of Riverton, Wyo., and Erik Frandsen of Gordon, Neb.; three daughters, Rogene Cly and Melanie Iron Teeth, both of Laughlin and Wynette Bolte of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, Berwyn Frandsen of Gordon; two sisters, Emily Griffing of Lincoln, Neb., and Idonna Weyers of Hay Springs, Neb.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Helen Faye Izzo, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Missouri. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired manager of a retail clothing firm.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Tingkang of Las Vegas; one son, Henry Izzo of Leona Valley, Calif; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Sharon Kendall, 55, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born July 3, 1946, in Nevada City, Calif. A resident for two years, she was a retired federal land law examiner.
She is survived by her husband, Husky; one son, Shea Kendall of Henderson; and one sister, Patricia Smith of Colusa, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. A memorial service will be in today in California. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

C. Scott Ketchum, 48, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Atlanta. A resident for 15 years, he was a customer service representative for a home builder.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie; one daughter, Jill L. Ketchum of Boulder City; two sons, Scott C. Ketchum of Pasadena, Calif., and Daniel E. Ketchum of the U.S. Navy; his father, Carlton B. Ketchum of Fayetteville, N.C.; his mother, Jean Moreland of Gulf Shores, Ala.; and one sister, Karen Still of Covina, Calif.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Donald R. Kurbis, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Benton Harbor, Mich. A resident for eight years, he was a retired newspaper distributor and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, Darrin Kurbis of Las Vegas; one daughter, Holly Bluschke of St. Joseph, Mich.; two brothers, Rudy Kurbis of Irons, Mich., and Melvin Kurbis of Stevensville, Mich.; two sisters, Elaine Hoover of Berrien Center, Mich., and Betty Menser of St. Joseph; and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Mitchell-Manno; three sons, Dominique Mitchell of Tucson, Ariz., Timmy Mitchell of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Charles Manno of Las Vegas; one daughter, Mary Manno of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Lillith Reber Morgan, 82, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born March 21, 1919, in Bunkerville. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Robert Morgan of Las Vegas; two sisters, Wilma Noel of Ephraim, Utah, and Noma Houston of Mesquite; and four brothers, Burdett Reber and Elwin Reber, both of St. George, Utah, and LaFell Reber and Demurren Reber, both of Mesquite.

He is survived by three sons, Rena Everfield, Kellough Morris Jr. and Walter Morris, and four daughters, Rolland Everfield, Lisa Cromwell, Jacqueline Hampton and Inez Watkins, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Eza Mae Franklin, Walter Mae Mikes and Hazel Jackson, all of California; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
