The Los Angeles Dodgers are returning to Las Vegas -- at least on television.
Fox Sports Net (West) 2 has reached an agreement with Las Vegas' Cox Cable to carry the regional sports network, it was announced Monday. FSN 2, which carries Dodgers games along with the NBA's Clippers, NHL's Mighty Ducks and West Coast-based college football and basketball, will debut Feb. 1 in Las Vegas.
"For Cox Communications in Las Vegas, this adds another dimension to our sports programming for our customers," said Cox vice president Steve Schorr.
Upcoming FSN 2 sports programming highlights include Southern Cal at UCLA on Feb. 6, Oregon at USC on Feb. 28 and Virginia at Maryland on March 3. The 80-game slate of Dodgers games begins in April.
