Michael Thomas Dippolito
Michael Thomas Dippolito, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1942, in New York. A resident for 20 years, he was a casino boxman and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; three sons, Michael Jr., George and William Whitcomb; two daughters, Tina Garner and Tonya Dippolito; his father and stepmother, Kelly and Vikki; one sister, Marie Gomes; and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Leona Jones Hilla
Leona Jones Hilla, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Valier, Mont. A resident for 58 years, she was a retired hotel banquet waitress, a retired member of the Culinary Union and Las Vegas Ladies Golf and a charter member of the Ladies Bowling Association.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy McMichael of Annapolis, Md.; four sisters, Mary Rymer of Las Vegas, Cecelia Habets of Conrad, Mont., Martha Seefried of Tucson and Josephine Wilson of Eugene, Ore.; one brother, Bud Houben of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Harold E. Hull
Harold E. Hull, 89, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1912, in Freewater, Ore. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired transportation supervisor, an Army veteran and a longtime member of Elks Lodge 1468.
He is survived by his wife, Ada M.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Josephine Lovergine
Josephine Lovergine, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A factory worker, she was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Illinois.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Strauel of Illinois.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Merle F. Parrish
Merle F. Parrish, 79, of Chloride, Ariz., died Friday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 30, 1922, in St. Johns, Ariz. A former Boulder City resident for one year, he was a retired building contractor and a World War II Army veteran who received a Purple Heart in France.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; three daughters; one son; four stepsons; one stepdaughter; 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Erez Potik
Erez Potik, 24, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1977, in Tel Aviv, Israel. A resident for 10 years, he was a salesman in the fashion industry.
He is survived by his parents, Ephraim and Zipi Potik of Henderson; and one brother, Oren Potik of Rehovot, Israel.
Visitation is private. Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
Gisela Reyes
Gisela Reys, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 9, 1955, in Matanzass, Cuba. A resident for many years, she was a beautician.
She is survived by her husband, Hector Nicholas Serrano Sr. of Minnesota; one daughter, Viviana Serrano, one son, Hector Nicklas Serrano III, one brother, George Reyes, and one sister, Juana Barbara Hawass, all of Nevada; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.
Anthony Frank Romane Sr.
Anthony Frank Romane Sr., 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Missoula, Mont. A resident for 16 years, he was an electronics technician and computer troubleshooter and a decorated Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by four sons, Anthony F. Romane Jr. of San Diego, Kenneth S. Romane of Las Vegas, Richard C. Romane, and Daniel E. Romane of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Diane M. Hudson of North Las Vegas; his stepmother, Donna Reichman of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Sandy Romane of Mountain Lake, Wash.; two sisters, Maryann McGinely of Highland Ranch, Colo., and Kandy Remsing; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
