Land set for business park

Harsch Investment Properties said it bought 42 acres of land in Henderson from the LandWell Co. for $7.7 million.

The property is in the Black Mountain Industrial Center near Warm Springs and Eastgate roads.

Harsch plans to build Henderson Commerce Center South on the acreage; groundbreaking for the property is scheduled for the third quarter.

Henderson Commerce Center South will include about 800,000 square feet of flex and industrial distribution space in eight buildings.

Upon completion of the business park, Portland, Ore.-based Harsch will own more than 2 million square feet of space in the Henderson area, said Vice President Ralph Murphy.
