Williams to speak at benefit Saturday
Brian Williams of MSNBC will be the featured speaker at An Evening with Class at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Four Seasons hotel.
Williams will be commenting on events that have transpired since Sept. 11.
The fund-raiser will benefit Class Publications, a nonprofit organization that serves the high school students of Clark County.
The cost of the fund-raiser is $200. For reservations or more information, call 895-1504.
Annual benefit set for Channel 10
KLVX Channel 10 will host the 13th annual Splendor in the Glass benefit 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Bally's.
The event will feature the fruit of more than 50 wineries, a live wine auction and a silent auction. Admission is $25 for Channel 10 members; $35 for nonmembers and $45 at the door.

Fee program will feature astronomy
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area will feature a free astronomy program, night sky viewing and John Mowbray signing in the Friends Room of the Visitors Center beginning noon Saturday.
Mowbray will discuss special techniques he uses for night photography.
The Astronomical Society will host an astronomy program, with star charts being used to discuss star formations and planets best seen in winter months.
Telescopes will be available for viewing. Each telescope will be set to view a different star formation or planet discussed in the program.
