Letter: Term limits are back in vogue

Monday, Jan. 7, 2002 | 8:49 a.m.

Listening to a talk program on a recent morning, more than one call was about term limits. They were in favor of limits.

Here is my idea on term limits. The president may serve only two terms of four years. No one should serve longer than the president. Let's limit senators to six years and House members to two years. This would be a good way to limit the influence lobbyists have on our public servants.
