twitterLasorda to speak at benefit for UNLV

Tommy Lasorda, former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and 2000 Olympic gold medalist with Team USA, will be the featured speaker at the First Pitch Banquet, which is an event to benefit the UNLV baseball team.
The banquet, to be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Mandalay Bay Conference Center, will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.
The banquet will be the culmination of an eventful day for UNLV baseball as the Rebels host a team of alumni at Earl E. Wilson Stadium at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $250 or $2500 for a table of 10. Space is limited. For more information or to reserve a ticket or table, call the UNLV baseball office at 895-3499.
