Robert E. Barrett
Robert E. Barrett, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1925, in Silverton, Ore. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired real estate broker, World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Zelza Shrine, Masons and Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; and one son, Lee K. Barrett of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. graveside services Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Ronald McDonald House in his memory.
Ronald J. Brust
Ronald J. Brust, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1938, in Chicago. A resident for 14 years, he was the owner/operator of a telecommunications company.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two daughters, Teresa Ann Arkema and Danna L. Manion, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Herbert J. Brust of Spooner, Wis., and Michael D. Brust of Bollingbrook, Ill.; one brother, Robert J. Brust of Dunwoody, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Sallyanne Buchko
Sallyanne Buchko, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 23, 1940, in Ypsilanti, Mich. A resident for nine years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by four daughters, Sallyanne Athan of Wyandotte, Mich., Jean Marie Goebel of Augusta, Maine, Michelle Russell of Columbus, Ohio, and Therese Lindhout of Las Vegas; two sons, Richard Buchko Jr., of Wyandotte and Michael Buchko of Las Vegas; one sister, Alice Cochenour of Monroe, Mich.; one brother, James Ranger Jr., of Florida; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Additional services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Church. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
James S. Campbell
James S. Campbell, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Virginia. A longtime resident, he was a landscape architect.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet.
No local services scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Dante Catinella
Dante Catinella, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1934, in Fallo, Italy. A resident for one year, he was a restaurant owner/operator.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; one son, Massimo Catinella, and one daughter, Susan Chavez, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Angelo Catinella of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until noon services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Tristan Allen Curtis
Tristan Allen Curtis, 8 months, died Dec. 26 in California. He was born April 23, 2001 in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Alysia Curtis, and one sister, Destenie Curtis, all of Las Vegas.
A private visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 2620 Regatta Drive, Suite 206. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Evy Linda Finley, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 2, 1955, in Florida. A resident for 1 1-2 years, she was a dental assistant.
She is survived by her companion, David Wineland of Las Vegas; two sisters, Camella Klatt of Corvallis, Ore., and Penny Zumwalt of Fresno, Calif.; and one brother, Eric Zumwalt of Grants Pass, Ore.

Paul J. Granada
Paul J. Granada, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born June 29, 1924, in Maui, Hawaii. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired airport security officer, Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Clarita; two daughters, Arlene Lepper of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Lorelie Granada of Las Vegas; four sons, Belden Granada of San Jose, Calif., and Lawrence Granada, Lemuel Granada and Lloyd Granada, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Ignacio Granada of San Jose; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday and 8-10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 6:30 p.m Thursday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern and 10 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Marilyn 'Molly' Hackedorn
Marilyn "Molly" Hackedorn, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Mansfield, Ohio. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Dayna Blakenship of West Hills, Calif., Shari Wilson of Phoenix and Marcy Thomas of Las Vegas; one son, Ronald Hackedorn of Dallas; three brothers, David Todd of Simi Valley, Calif., and William Todd and Howard Todd, both of Mansfield; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mark J. Hayes Jr.
Mark J. Hayes Jr., 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Enosburg Falls, Vt. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired automobile dealer, World War II Navy veteran, member of the American Legion, Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars, past member of the Rotary Club, and a past president of the Vermont Automobile Association.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; three daughters, Ann McGurn of Pueblo West, Colo., Susan Hayes of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Mary Beth Mooney of Colchester, Vt.; three sons, Mark J. Hayes III of Newport, Vt., Michael Hayes of Bethesda, Md., and Peter Hayes of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Gloria Kelly, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 5, 1919, in Bronx, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a retired saleswoman.
She is survived by three daughters, Martha E. Mazzucca of Saylorsburg, Pa, and Lorraine A. Stiehl and Lynda M. Esposito, both of Las Vegas; one son, Robert H. Stiehl Jr., of Torrance, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Brown of Riverdale, N.Y., and Deborah Kelly of Staten Island, N.Y.; three stepsons, Tom Kelly of New York City, Patrick Kelly of Staten Island and Peter Kelly of Riverdale; and 20 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, Northwest, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Carvel O. "Carl" Kitchens, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 15, 1940, in Houston. A resident for three years, he was a property manager for a storage company.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Rodney Raiser, and one daughter, Karla Powell, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Sam Kitchens of Las Vegas and Ken Kitchens of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m Sunday in Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 2620 Regatta Drive, Suite 206. 89128. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Patrick Joseph Munn
Patrick Joseph Munn, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1936, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. A resident for four years, he was a sales representative for an insurance company, an Army veteran, and a member of Knight of Columbus and was the first grand knight of Foxboro, Mass.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; three sons, Richard Munn of Moscow, Russia, and David Munn and Timothy Munn, both of Massachusetts; two daughters, Kathleen Pukt, and Mary Rateau, both of Massachusetts; two brothers, Michael Munn of Nebraska and Margaret Doyle of Iowa; and five grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled 3 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Canton, Mass.
Lillian L. O'Neal
Lillian L. O'Neal, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Waxahachie, Texas. A resident for 56 years, she was a cosmetologist and served as senior church mother at Tabernacle of Praise Church of God in Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Guiana McNeil of Las Vegas; one sister, Lula Mae Davis of Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Vegas View Church of God in Christ, 1906 Glider Ave. Graveside services will ve 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Florabell H. Peters
Florabell H. Peters, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 28, 1928, in Van Wert, Ohio. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Randall Peters of Toledo, Ohio, and Ronald Peters, Roger Peters and Rory Peter, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Cleon Reckley of Maumee, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Verna Lee Poole
Verna Lee Poole, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 9, 1950, in Alexandria, La. A resident for 49 years, she was a telephone operator for Sprint and co-founder of the Las Vegas 76ers basketball.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J.; four sons, "TJ" Poole Jr., Derek Poole, Rossi Poole and Terry Walston, her father, Milbon Sampson, three sisters, Mary Sampson, Vera Sampson and Everlean "Angel" Sampson, and one brother, Sammie Lee Sampson, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Burial will be in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Catherine Armenta Potter
Catherine Armenta Potter, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 12, 1909, in Cooperton, Okla. A longtime resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Henry A. Potter of Marion, Texas; and one daughter, Jo Ann Williams of Las Vegas.

Joseph Ratliff
Joseph Ratliff, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1913, in New Lexington, Ohio. A resident for six months, he was a retired fiberglass insulator.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Ratliff of Las Vegas and William Ratliff of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Bertha Schneider, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1920, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired secretary in the garment industry and a member of the Jewish Women's International Group.
She is survived by her husband, David.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Karen A. Betley of Henderson; one son, Larry R. Schneider of Missoula, Mont.; two sisters, Helen Halstensen of Butternut, Wis., and Barbara Jean Florence of St. George, Utah; one brother, James Burch of Ogden, Utah; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mausoleum, Boulder City.

Irene Strobridge, 99, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born April 25, 1902, in Walberg Two, N.D. A resident for 31 years, she was a bookkeeper for Southern Pacific Railroad for 25 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Sue Strobridge of Las Vegas.

Mitzy Mitsue Tanaka
Mitzy Mitsue Tanaka, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Tokyo. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired education professor and a member of the JACL, the Las Vegas Buddhist Sangha and the Rose Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Catherine Moses, and one son, Michael Tanaka, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Yuriko Suyama of Tokyo and Sumiko Takubo of Shikoku, Japan.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Patricia L. Thomas, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired Cardivan employee.
She is survived by two sons, William P. Thomas of Las Vegas and Steven Thomas of Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Linda L. Dubovick of Pioche; one brother, Kenneth Glendenning of Ontario, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dodge; one daughter, Jan Tabor of Seattle; her mother, Dorothy Fromm, and two sisters, Ruth Zacharias and Esther Fromm, all of New Richmond, Wis.; one brother, Charles Fromm of St. Paul, Minn.; and three grandchildren.

Florence Wood, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 26, 1911, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, she was a business owner.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Halbig of Las Vegas and Barbara Vaine of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Tommy Morgan; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; two daughters, Ann M. Ashby and Mary T. Cross, both of Las Vegas; five sons, Paul W. Ziegler of Columbus, Ohio, Phillip J. Ziegler of Johnson Creek, Wis., Robert A. Ziegler of Finley, N.D., Ralph M. Ziegler of Perry, Ohio, and George E. Ziegler of Zepherhills, Fla.; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
