Ed Baker, 81, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 26, 1920, in Saskatchewan. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired automotive assembler and World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; one daughter, Beverly Baker of Las Vegas; two sons, Chet Baker of Las Vegas and Jerry Baker of Port Hueneme, Calif.; one brother, Irwin Baker of British Columbia; two sisters, Thelma Hall of Surrey, British Columbia, and Wilma of Canada; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Donna B. Ballard
Donna B. Ballard, 43, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 20, 1958, in Camp Pendelton, Calif. A resident for eight years, she was a retired clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Issac; four sons, Robert Ballard of Federal Way, Wash., Jonny Ballard of Cleveland, Desmond Ballard of Kent, Wash., and Issac Houston of Las Vegas; three daughters, Wanda Ballard of Cleveland and Dena Wortham and Nicole Welch, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Georgia Welch of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bobby Ourada of Gloucester, Va., and Michael Teel of Las Vegas; three sisters, Kimberly Teel of Las Vegas and Marie Tolson and Rosa Watkins, both of Tallulah, La.; and twelve grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy Trinity AME Church, 700 Lola Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mary Ann Bernheisel, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 29, 1913, in South Dakota. A resident for 25 years, she was a bakery manager.
She is survived by three sons, Leland Stainbrook of Nevada, Gerald Bernheisel of Oregon and Milton Bernheisel of New Mexico; one daughter, Janet Cagley of Alaska; one sister, Marie Wickersham of Oregon; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Bert Wilbur Brooks Jr.
Bert Wilbur Brooks Jr., 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. Born Dec. 25, 1958, in Indiana, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; three sons, Christopher Brooks of California, Daniel Brooks of Las Vegas and James Larosa of Arizona; one daughter, Ashley Brooks of Las Vegas; and one sister, Tanya Sonafrank of Henderson.

Charles William Brown
Charles William Brown, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1923, in Champagne, Ill. A resident for 34 years, he was a maintenance worker, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Steve Brown of Dayton; one daughter, Jari Irvin of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel, followed by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
David Clark
David Clark, 84, of Henderson died Feb. 17 in a local hospital. He was born May 27, 1917, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for two years, he was a retired cook.
He is survived by one daughter, Darline Clark, and one son, Reginald Clark, both of Henderson; and many grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Amelia G. D'Antuono
Amelia G. D'Antuono, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 29, 1908, in Kingston, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a telephone supervisor.
He is survived by one daughter, Maria DiBenedetto of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Oma Mildred Eddy
Oma Mildred Eddy, 85, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born April 16, 1916, in Nina, W.Va. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Stan Cork of Pahrump, Louis Cork of Follansbee, W.Va., and Mardon Cork and Howard Utt, both of Henderson; four daughters, Dot Bristol of Pahrump, Mary DiPaolo of Follansbee and Lora Moore and Karen Rivera, both of Henderson; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Vincent Elia
Vincent Elia, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. Born Nov. 7, 1924, in Middletown, N.Y., he was a casino worker.
He is survived by one brother, Dr. Carmen A. Elia.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Joseph Lee Ford
Joseph Lee Ford, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 1958, in Colorado. A resident for 59 years, he was an advertising executive.
He is survived by one sister, Frances Dean Ford.

Willie Franklin
Willie Franklin, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired truck driver, Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by one daughter, Narcissus Ealy, and six sons, Ronald Franklin, Donald Franklin, Robert Franklin, Larry Franklin, Darwin Franklin and Don Franklin, all of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Curtis Gamble
Curtis Gamble, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 31, 1925, in Mexia, Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was a real estate broker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Florine; five children; four sisters, Faye B. Stewart of Los Angeles and Pearl R. Billips, Robbie L. Hill and Lurline Jordan, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. No local services scheduled. Burial will be in California.
Eloise M. Gilpatrick
Eloise M. Gilpatrick, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1935, in Bayou Goula, La. A resident for five years, she was a retired nurse, member of the California Nurses Association and she loved to sew.
She is survived by her companion, Gerald Beveridge of Las Vegas; two daughters, Deborah Heinzmann of Concord, Calif., and Sandra Gilpatrick of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two sons, Michael Gilpatrick of San Jose, Calif., and Stephen Gilpatrick of Folsom, Calif.; her mother, Hazel L. Troxclair, one sister, Evelyn Varnell, and one brother, Larry Troxclair, all of Plaquemine, La.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated in Pleasanton, Calif., followed by burial in Lafayette, Calif.

Dixie L. Gregg, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Greeley, Colo. A resident for 62 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl of Alabama and Dawn of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert and James, both of Alabama; her mother, Wanda Virginia, her father, Robert Roy, one sister, Marianne, and one brother, Kenneth, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., followed by burial in Memory Gardens.

Margaret Amy Massey, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 6, 1912, in California. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Connelly and Pam Stille, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Josephine Miller of Oakdale, Calif., and Trudy Wright of Everett, Wash.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

George B. Mosse Jr.
George B. Mosse Jr., 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 12, 1929, in Denison, Texas. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired musician, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Musicians Union.
He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina; one daughter, Sonja Mosse of Kodiac, Alaska; two sons, George B. Mosse III, of Las Vegas and David Mosse of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Kathy Mosse and Suzanne Mosse, both of Dallas; one brother, Gary Bob Mosse of San Antonio; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. graveside services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Bertha Murphy
Bertha Murphy, 92, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born March 16, 1909, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 21 years, she was retired from retail sales.
She is survived by two daughters, Leah Murphy of Las Vegas and Barbara Koots of Chandler, Ariz.; one sister, Stella Johnson of Grand Rapids; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Grand Rapids. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., handled arrangements.
Marvin Nelson
Marvin Nelson, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 26, 1915, in Preston, Kan. A resident for 60 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Feeney and Marjorie Daley, both of Las Vegas; one son, John Nelson of Aloha, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Otilia Diaz De Otero, 80, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Mexico. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ignacio Otero-Arrieta; one son, Victormanuel Otero of Mexico City; four daughters, Arcelia Jimenez of Henderson and Araceli Otero-Diaz, Arminta Paniagua and Aziyade Yanez, all of Mexico City.

Fred Poulos, 61, of Pahrump died Monday in Pahrump. He was born Sept. 14, 1940, in Oregon. A resident for one year, he was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Dorthey; two daughters, Laura Lee Schwartzwalter of Pahrump and Danice Balint of California; two sons, Rodney of Las Vegas and Noah of Round Mountain; one brother, Gust Poulos of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Lois A. Pugliese, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Los Angeles. A resident for seven years, she was a retired vice president of a distributing company.
She is survived by her husband, Bill.

He is survived by his wife, Charlane; one daughter, Cathy Younce of Alamo; one son, Christopher T. Stead of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Shields of Tubac, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Jeannette Lee Stewart, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 24, 1915, in Nashville, Tenn. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Paul Alan Stewart of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Dr. David Michael Stuart Watt
Dr. David Michael Stuart Watt, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born March 17, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for five years, he was a physician and Vietnam War Army veteran, decorated with the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Combat Medical Badge, six unit citations and three foreign awards, active in Boy Scouting and a member of the NRA, American Legion, Turtles International and Association of Military Surgeons.
He is survived by his wife, LaVada; one daughter, Ronda M. Roach, and one son, Ian Glenn Watt, both of Memphis, Tenn.
Services will be 3:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation and Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Donald Evans Williams, 80, of Henderson died Feb. 16 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1921, in New York. A resident for 35 years, he was a salesman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one brother, John F. Williams; and one sister, Margaret Quinn.
