Radiothon to benefit St. Jude's Hospital
KWNR 95.5-FM will host its 10th annual Country Cares for St. Jude's Kids radiothon Thursday and Friday live from the Galleria at Sunset mall.
The event raises money for research and treatment for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Everyone who pledges to be a Partner in Hope, that's $240 on a credit card or $20 each month for a year, will receive a pair of tickets to be in the VIP section at the April 27 Carolyn Dawn Johnson concert at Palace Station.
The first 25 Partners in Hope to pledge will receive a backstage pass in addition to the VIP tickets. Each Partner in Hope who donates each day will be registered to win a "Star Guitar" that will be given away in a drawing at the end of each Radio-thon Day.
To pledge, call (800) 963-HOPE.
The "Will to Win" scholarship
