Monday, Feb. 18, 2002 | 9:47 a.m.
Behind an offense that banged out seven runs and 10 hits and a pitching staff that held Cal Poly-SLO in check, the UNLV softball team rolled to its fourth straight win, 7-3 in the final game of the UNLV Softball Classic Sunday at Desert Breeze Park.
The Rebels (7-5) got solid performances from every hitter in the lineup. Seven players collected at least one hit, most of which came in UNLV's five-run third inning.
The Rebels posted a 4-1 mark in their tournament and will return home to Eller Media Stadium on Wednesday for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader against Southern Utah.
