Food drive held with thrift stores
The Salvation Army is holding a food drive through Saturday with the help of Savers Thrift Stores.
Savers customers are asked to bring a nonperishable food donation to the store or make a $20 purchase to be entered into a drawing to win $100 of free groceries.

Clark County, through its Summer Business Institute program,
a partnership with area businesses, has jobs for 100 qualifying Las Vegas Valley high school juniors and seniors. The eight-week program begins June 10 and is designed to expose disadvantaged inner-city youth to career fields they might not otherwise consider. The application deadline is March 1.
