Fred A. 'Rusty' Bader

Fred A. "Rusty" Bader, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1937, in Tacoma, Wash. A resident for five years, he was a construction manager, an Air Force veteran, a member of the Elks and Moose.

He is survived by one sister, Barbara Aldave of Eugene, Ore.; and one brother, Gregory V. Bader of Austin, Texas.

A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the general fund at Bridgeport High School, Bridgeport, Wash.

Irene M. Bullard

Irene M. Bullard, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Marion, Va. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Randi Bise and Tracy Engle, both of Las Vegas, and Patricia Pearce of Bend, Ore.; three sons, Billy Bullard of Las Vegas, Phillip Bullard of Phoenix and Jeffery Bullard of Hesperia, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Andrea Centeno

Andrea Centeno, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1918, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired small equipment operator for a parts manufacturer and a member of the Catholic Church's Blue Army.

She is survived by one daughter, Aurea Mabe, and one son, Angel L. Ocasio, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Benito Centeno of Chicago and Juan Centeno and Pedro Centeno, both of Puerto Rico; 11 grandchildren, 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association, Southern Nevada Chapter, 5190 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89118.

Eulogio P. 'Yoyong' Flores

Eulogio P. "Yoyong" Flores, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 13, 1923, in the Philippines. A resident for several years, he was a lawyer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by five sons, Luis Flores, Eulogio Flores Jr., Albino Flores, Eliseo Flores and Eric Flores; three daughters, Lucia Augilar, Locreng David and Maura Castillo; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Catherine 'Kay' Frigiano

Catherine "Kay" Frigiano, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired Caesars Palace pit clerk, president of the Newcomer's Club and a member of the Moose.

She is survived by one daughter, Dolores Williamson of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Cestaro and Teresa Cianciotta, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Christopher Griffin

Christopher Griffin, 40, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 6, 1961, in Salinas, Calif. A resident for five years, he worked in environmental services at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; one daughter, Lashonda Griffin of Westminster, Colo.; his parents, Frank and Geraldine Griffin of Seaside, Calif.; two brothers, Joseph Griffin and Johnathan Griffin, both of Westminster; and four sisters, Delores Griffin of Tallulah, La., Jacqueline Hughes of Phoenix and Angela Allmon and Edie Bennett, both of Seaside.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Richard 'Pop' Hayden

Richard "Pop" Hayden, 76, of Henderson died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Battle Creek, Mich. A resident for six years, he was a retired calibration technician for an aviation firm and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Roger Hayden of Henderson; two daughters, Phylyss Taylor of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Sharyl O'Brien of Yermo, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Esther L. Humphrey

Esther L. Humphrey, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A clerk for the federal government, he was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Beattie, Kan.

He is survived by one daughter, Janice Robinson of Las Vegas; one son, Robbie Humphrey of San Diego; and two grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in San Diego. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Jay R. Huntsman

Jay R. Huntsman, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 26, 1923, in Bunkerville. A resident for 45 years, he was a teacher for the Clark County School District.

He is survived by his wife, Evona C.; three sons, Frank Huntsman and Rulon Huntsman, both of Las Vegas, and Dale Huntsman of Virgin, Utah; one daughter, Jolene Clinton of Simi Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Iris Starr, Leila Stratton and Elna Gentry, all of St. George, Utah.

No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in St. George. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Raymond H. Jackson

Raymond H. Jackson, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1920, in Cincinnati. A resident for 11 years, he was a grocery retailer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Hellen M. Westbrooks-Jackson of North Las Vegas; and one son, Ron Jackson of Michigan.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Warren A. Johnson

Warren A. Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1919, in Wisconsin. A resident for 32 years, he was a mechanic for Ahern Rentals and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Jeannie Flanegin of Arizona and Cynthia Rogers, Janice Holland and JoAnne LaFreniere, all of Nevada; six sons, Robert A. Johnson, Richard D. Johnson and Randall C. Johnson, all of Nevada, Russell J. Johnson of Wisconsin, Raymond W. Johnson of New Mexico and Ross N. Johnson of California; 17 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the family residence, 5000 Bevvie Drive. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Roy J. Kirk

Roy J. Kirk, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 16, 1938, in Rio Tinto. A resident for nine years, he was a retired certified public accountant, a Navy veteran, a treasurer for the Sun City Tennis Club, a member of National Association of Accountants and American Institute of CPAs.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; one daughter, Ginny Kirk of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Joyce Dajon of Virginia Beach, Va., Mary Hanline of Pleasant View, Utah, Dina Holcomb of Healdsburg, Calif., and Carol Lee of Sacramento.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Gail Leeann Lee

Gail Leeann Lee, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1940, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 59 years, she was an apartment manager and a member of the Clark County PTA.

She is survived by one son, Mark Aranbasich of Los Angeles; two daughters, Tracy Allen and Shelby Henderson, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Steve Allen of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel on Lindell Road. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Viola May Majors

Viola May Majors, 86, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 8, 1915, in El Reno, Okla. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; one daughter, Betty Berry of Henderson; two brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Olga G. McGowan

Olga G. McGowan, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 21, 1946, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 33 years, she was a food server.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Olga L. Barasoain of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 3090 E. Mountain Vista St. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Barbara Perry

Barbara Perry, 62, of Mesquite died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 23, 1939, in Bell, Calif. A resident six years, she was retired as a locksmith company owner-operator.

She is survived by one daughter, Robin Perry of Colton, Calif.; one son, Jeffrey Perry of Oregon; and one grandchild.

Stephen Earl Roberts

Stephen Earl Roberts, 55, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1947, in Montana. A resident for eight years, he was an accountant for a medical business.

He is survived by his wife, Madeleine; his mother, Carrie Bea Reep of San Diego; and one sister, Joyce Newmen of Florida.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Clair A. Rowley

Clair A. Rowley, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a retired furniture upholsterer, a Korean War Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki A.; three sons, Robert Von Miller of Las Vegas and Troy C. Rowley and Randy Rowley, both of Ely; three daughters, Della Rowley of Las Vegas and Diana Merneer and Roberta Rowley, both of Detroit; one brother, Roy Rowley of South Dakota; three sisters, Ruth Lucy of California, Mary Ann Calloway of New Mexico and Joyce Muir of Arizona; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lea Lenor Stevens

Lea Lenor Stevens, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 10, 1933, in Red Mesa, Colo. A resident for 40 years, she was a food and beverage server at the Desert Inn and a volunteer for At-Home Hospice Services.

She is survived by her husband, Louis F.; three daughters, Donna L. Williams of Phoenix, Terri Pringle of Las Vegas and Marni L. Leach of Nebraska; two sons, Richard Clouse Jr. and Jerry Leach, both of Henderson; two sisters, Darlene Park of Ogden, Utah, and Joan Stoddard of Idaho; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Jay Johnston Taylor

Jay Johnston Taylor, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Logan, Utah. A resident for five years, he was a community development president, a retired Air Force colonel, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and a retired member of the Air Force Officers Association.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Lee; two sons, Larry Taylor of Monument, Colo., and Sid Taylor of Greensboro, Ga.; two daughters, Cynthia Taylor of Vancouver, Wash., and Kathryn Affleck of Hooper, Utah; one sister, Elaine Hatch of Randolph, Utah; four brothers, Lawrence Taylor of St. George, Utah, James Taylor of Eden, Utah, Wallace Taylor of Greensboro and Robert Taylor of Henderson; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 9 a.m. service Tuesday in the Parkdale LDS Ward chapel. Graveside services will follow at noon Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
