LV phone firm in Chap. 11
Friday, Feb. 8, 2002 | 11:08 a.m.
Gourmet Express doing business as One Source Teleservices, a Las Vegas reseller of Sprint Corp. telephone lines, said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Tuesday because of disputes with Sprint over billing issues.
"One Source is evaluating its options to come out of Chapter 11 in the near future. The Chapter 11 was filed to protect One Source customers and the company. One Source customers will not have any interruption of service," said Mitch Altman, One Source's president.
He declined to disclose the number of Las Vegas-area businesses and residents served by the 20-worker company, which has one office at 2324 W. Charleston Blvd, suite 100. No assets or liabilities were listed in the bankruptcy filing.
Sprint Spokeswoman Detra Page disputed One Source's allegations. "One Source has no formal dispute with Sprint. Sprint will continue to lease its lines to One Source so it can continue to provide service to its customers."
