Two sought after home invasion

Metro Police are looking for two suspects in connection with a Monday night home invasion robbery and shooting in northwest Las Vegas.

An occupant of the house was shot and was in critical condition at University Medical Center this morning, police said.

About 8:30 p.m. police were called to the 5400 block of Mossman Avenue, near Michael Way and Cheyenne Avenue, Lt. Ted Snodgrass said.

Police believe at least two robbers entered the home, and five people were in the house at the time, all in their early 20s, Snodgrass said.

The robbers forced four of the occupants to lie on the floor, Snodgrass said.

"It looks like another person was in a back room, possibly a bathroom, and when he came out it startled the suspects," Snodgrass said.
