Henderson fitness center sold

The Sports Club Co. today announced it has sold the Sports Club/Las Vegas to an unidentified club operator.

The local sports and fitness club, located in Henderson at 2100 Olympic Ave., will continue to operate with current personnel, Rex Licklider, co-chief executive officer of the Sports Club Co., said in a statement.

The Henderson center was sold so the Los Angeles-based the Sports Club Co. could focus on improving the financial performance of five Sports Club sites the company opened in four major cities over the past two years, Licklider said.
