Awards ceremony planned Friday

The Southern Nevada Human Resource Association, in partnership with Greenspun Media Group, presents "Workplace Excellence 2002 Awards" 1 p.m. Friday at Texas Station.

The awards ceremony will recognize small, medium and large companies, nonprofit and government agencies as well as their CEOs and Human Resource professionals for quality and innovative leadership within their organizations.

Mirage Resorts Vice President Arte Nathan is the event's master of ceremonies, and the guest speaker is Punam Mather, vice president of community affairs for MGM MIRAGE. Call 920-5209.
