Neville G. Adams

Neville G. Adams, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born July 17, 1918, in England. A resident for eight years, he came to America on the Queen Mary, served in the Canadian Royal Navy and became a U.S. citizen in 1945.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara L.; two daughters, Michelle Adams of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Julie Watts of London; one stepson, Steve Clark of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 28369, Las Vegas, NV 89126.

Gregory Randall Davis

Gregory Randall Davis, 18, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 9, 1983, in California. A resident for nine months, he was a college student.

He is survived by his parents, Cora and Peter Davis of Colorado Springs, Colo.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Colorado Springs. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Benoosh Derandressian

Benoosh Derandressian, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in California. She was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Iran. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Shahen Andresian of Henderson and Hrand Hakhuerdian of Glendale, Calif.; two daughters, Araks Kirakosian of Glendale and Tamara Bani of Tehran, Iran; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 12:30 p.m. service Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Mildred W. Espersen

Mildred W. Espersen, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Cheney, Kan. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one sister, Myrle Wilson of Canon City, Colo.; three nieces, Mary Ann Holmes and Michelle Dupras, both of Las Vegas, and Nicole Nock of El Paso, Texas; and two nephews, Butch Espersen of Pahrump and Geoffery Holmes of Las Vegas.

Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

AliceMarie Gonzalez

AliceMarie Gonzalez, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1949, in Corona, N.Y. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Gonzalez and Robert Gonzalez, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Evelyn Jaeger of Bayshore, N.Y.; four brothers, Don Jaeger Virginia, Eddie Jaeger of Colorado, Bob Jaeger of New York state and Raymond Jaeger of Florida; and two sisters, Sue Tochiki of Hawaii and Geraldine Mehan of Florida.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Lelah M. Harling

Lelah M. Harling, 90, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. She was born March 12, 1911, in Elgin, Neb. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Spinkelink of Boulder City; two sons, William Harling of Sioux City, Iowa, and Donald Harling of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Sophie Katz

Sophie Katz, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 30, 1917, in Chelsea, Mass. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired owner-operator of knit shops in California.

She is survived by one daughter, Valerie Jean Katz; and one brother, Jack Lenchiner.

A memorial service date is pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Alfonso Kissner

Alfonso Kissner, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1949, in Peru. A resident for 38 years, he was a contractor.

He is survived by two daughters, Holly Kissner of Boston and Melissa Kissner of Las Vegas; one son, Max Kissner, his mother, Amparo Kissner, and one sister, Mimi Dunn, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled 2-6 p.m. today with a 5 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be private.

Ora Lee Martin

Ora Lee Martin, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 16, 1932, in St. Joseph, La. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Martin and Cynthia Martin, both of Las Vegas, and Shirley Robinson of Toledo, Ohio; one son, Thomas Brooks of Las Vegas; one brother, Freeman Andrews of Detroit; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Jean M. Phillips

Jean M. Phillips, 94, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 4, 1907, in Fremont, Neb. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired retail manager.

She is survived by two daughters, Bette Scanlan of Las Vegas and Mareta Alspaugh of San Diego; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Edwin Rehill

Edwin Rehill, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Maryland. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired drugstore salesman and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Ronald Rehill of Henderson, Michael Rehill of Southfork, Colo., and John Rehill of Henderson; one daughter, Debbie Ortman of Las Vegas; one sister, Tarni Holen of Robinsdale, Minn.; and three grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Raymond Rivero

Raymond Rivero, 84, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 5, 1917, in Caliente. A lifelong resident of Nevada, he was a retired machine operator, a World War II Army veteran, a veteran of the Nevada National Guard and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; one sister, Carmen Martinez of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Alfred Rivero of Long Beach, Calif., Alfonso Rivero of Las Vegas and Frank Rivero of Hesperia, Calif.

A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Joseph Donald Rowland

Joseph Donald Rowland, 73, of Pahrump died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 18, 1928, in Keokuk, Iowa. A recent resident, he was a meat cutter in a grocery store.

He is survived by his wife, Flossie; four sons, Ray Rowland and Bill Rash, both of Grand Junction, Colo., Mike Brooks of Carson City and Jerry DeLisle of Aurora, Colo.; one daughter, Jolene Summers of Las Vegas; one brother, Leo Rowland of Illinois; three sisters, Irene of Florida, Darlene of Illinois and Lorene of Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain View Assembly of God, 3901 E. Bonanza Road. Burial will be private. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Nancy Steffer

Nancy Steffer, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 14, 1946, in Wisconsin. A resident for many years, she was a sales secretary for Culligan Water Co.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Wisconsin. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Margaret Tate

Margaret Tate, 95, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 13, 1906, in Water Valley, Miss. A resident for six years, she was a retired domestic worker at a private residence.

She is survived by two daughters, Jerlean Tate of Las Vegas and Gloria Jean Tate of Teaneck, N.J.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Louise W. Thompson

Louise W. Thompson, 60, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 6, 1941, in Newellton, La. A resident for many years, she was a pantry worker at the Riviera hotel.

She is survived by her husband, James C.; three daughters, Cheryl D. Watson, Evangeline Washington and Wanda D. Bryant; two sons, James D. Thompson Jr. and Johnathan Thompson; her mother, Willie B. Barber; her father, Willie M. Washington; four sisters, Lizzie Robinson of Saginaw, Mich., Bobbie J. Culpepper of Detroit, Stephanie Washington of Tallulah, La., and Felicia Washington of Florida; six brothers, George Washington, Willie C. Washington and Curtis Washington, all of Las Vegas, Willie Washington and Leolaon Washington, both of Tallulah, and Charles Washington of Florida; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Sunday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Patricia G. Tressel

Patricia G. Tressel, 75, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 8, 1926, in Kentucky. A resident for one year, she was a photographer.

She is survived by one daughter, Patte Dustman of North Las Vegas; one sister, Eva Alexander, and one brother, Galen Phelps, both of Louisville, Ky.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Stuart Price 'Big Stu' Tobler

Stuart Price "Big Stu" Tobler, 31, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 10, 1970, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he owned a tree-trimming service, was a Navy veteran and a member of Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his fiancee, Deanne Pritchard, and his parents, Dr. Ronald and Judith Tobler, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Mark Tobler of Los Angeles, Ryan Tobler of Fallbrook, Calif., and Trent Tobler of Rexburg, Idaho; two sisters, Emily Larcher of Pasadena, Calif., and Ashlee Phillips of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Henrietta Allen of Phoenix.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 1 p.m. service Saturday in the Lindell LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

The family suggests donations to Perpetual Education Fund of the LDS Church or Sandstone Stake Family History sites.

Barbara Jeanne Williams

Barbara Jeanne Williams, 85, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1916, in Washington state. A resident for 18 years, she was an insurance office worker.

She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Jerry LaVell and Dennis LaVell; one daughter, Wendy Jewsbury; and two grandchildren.

Constance Zinda

Constance Zinda, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Minnesota. A resident for 31 years, she was a secretary in the health care industry.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis D.; her father, Elliott Kucheman; two daughters, Kim Brendel and Cari Carpentier; one sister, Tammi Lenius; and five grandchildren.
