Shirley M. Birkenmaier
Shirley M. Birkenmaier, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 24, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 2048.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Judy Christianberry of Maryville, Tenn., and Linda Oikle of Lamont, Ill.; two sons, Robert Birkenmaier of Oklahoma City and John Birkenmaier of Naperville, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Homeless Foundation.
Eva Marie Greenwood
Eva Marie Greenwood, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. Born April 2, 1923, in Hamptonville, N.C., she was a resident for 54 years.
She is survived by her husband, James B.; two sons, James B. Greenwood Jr. of Eugene, Ore., and Charles R. Greenwood of Henderson; four brothers, Charles Grey Ireland of Jonesville, N.C., George Ireland of Union Grove, N.C., and Claude Ireland and Ray Ireland, both of Hamptonville; two sisters, Annie Pearl Groce of Booneville, N.C., and Iva Gough of Winston-Salem, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at noon Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Hilda Horvath
Hilda Horvath, 73, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. Born Aug. 4, 1929, in Angeerhof, Germany, she was a resident for 17 years.
She is survived by one son, George Horvath of California; five daughters, Margaret Kasenberg of Florida and Annemarie Beams, Sylvia Jennings, Kari Slater and Barbara Dunagan, all of California; two brothers, Georg Lehr and Fritz Lehr, both of Germany; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Germany.
Marylou Jensen
Marylou Jensen, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Bayard, Neb. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired cashier and an avid bowler.
She is survived by her husband, George; one daughter, Yvonne Robinson of Salt Lake City; one son, Richard Jensen, and one brother, George Palmer, both of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Patricia Ann Ketay
Patricia Ann Ketay, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 19, 1932, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired executive with a communications company.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mel; two daughters, Rhonda Ketay of Los Angeles and Karen Dzierzewski of Las Vegas; one son, Kevin Ketay of Boise, Idaho; one brother, Donald Merrigan of Klamath Falls, Ore.; one sister, Margaret Blum of Orange, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled 3 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Donald Roy Lusiani
Donald Roy Lusiani, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 26, 1933, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired musician, a member of the Musicians Union and former member of house orchestras at the Las Vegas Hilton and Flamingo.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; two daughters, Michelle Lusiani and Renee Lusiani, and one stepdaughter, Sandra Freeman, all of Las Vegas; one stepson, Richard Perry of Sacramento; his mother, Esther Lusiani, and his brother, Richard "Dick Lane" Lusiani, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Joanne M. Militello
Joanne M. Militello, 61, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born April 22, 1941, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by four daughters, Tammy Bell of Las Vegas and Lisa Sparks, Donnette Kelso and Gina Boustany, all of Henderson; and eight grandchildren.

Suzanne M. Morgan
Suzanne M. Morgan, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 11, 1952, in Hamtramich, Mich. A resident for seven years, she was a retired Navy commander and Gulf War veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Keith A.; two sons, Roger Morgan and Travis Morgan, both of Elkhart, Ind.; her mother, Julia Zukowski of St. Claire Shores, Mich.; one brother, David Zukowski of Kiln, Miss.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Seymor H. Ramberg
Seymor H. Ramberg, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1919, in Havre, Mont. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired Marine Corps veteran and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Masons.
He is survived by one son, Clayton Ramberg of Las Vegas; two brothers, Vance Ramberg of Las Vegas and Walt Ramberg of Portland, Ore.; four sisters, Myrtle Hould of Malta, Mont., Lulabelle Wishskerchen of Belt, Mont., and Illa McComb and Lenora Paulson, both of Great Falls, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

Casimir Stanley Zurek
Casimir Stanley Zurek, 61, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Bukaczowce, Russia. A resident for 12 years, he was a bar porter.
He is survived by his wife, Alina; one daughter, Laura Zurek, and two sons, Andrew Zurek and Vincent Zurek, all of North Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
