Fishing has been good for rainbow trout and striped bass at Lake Mead following the Nevada Division of Wildlife's weekly plants in the Boulder Basin, while anglers fishing in the lake's other basins have had little success.

Large numbers of anglers have been gathering at the stocking locations on the days of the plants. Most have had success by fishing with Super Duper lures and PowerBait. Anglers have been finding trout for several days after the plants.

A few anglers have been catching small stripers around the narrows above Cottonwood Cove. Those fish are in deep water and have been taken by trolling with anchovies and squid.
