Lillian L. Cox
Lillian L. Cox, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 20, 1918, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired registration clerk with the convention authority.
She is survived by friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Shade Tree, P.O. Box 669, Las Vegas, NV 89125.
Mondell Hunt
Mondell Hunt, 19, of Las Vegas died Dec. 15 in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1983, in Sacramento. A resident for 19 years, he was a construction laborer.
He is survived by his father, Otis Hunt; one brother, William Randolph Jr., and three sisters, Keisha Lennox, Neiisha Ford and Dora Randolph, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Vegas View Church of God in Christ, 1906 Glider St., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Harvey E. Jackson Jr.
Harvey E. Jackson Jr., 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Latta, S.C. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired supply manager for the Nevada Test Site, and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy M.; one daughter, Barbara E. Cosenza, and two sons, David M. Jackson and William P. Jackson, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Jan. 10. in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Harley B. Nelson
Harley B. Nelson, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 17, 1921, in Osnabrock, N.D. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired farmer, member of the Knights of Pythias and past president of Christ Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nona; three daughters, Barbara Taylor of Monument, Colo., Peggy Sholy of Las Vegas and Connie Nelson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one son, H. Brad Nelson of Las Vegas; three sisters, Eunice Egan of Whittier, Calif., Thelma Van Horn of Riverside, Calif., and Gladys Lorenz of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Norris Nelson of Aberdeen, S.D., and Grant Nelson of Bullhead City, Ariz.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.
Edward Joseph Rogers
Edward Joseph Rogers, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 3, 1932, in New York City. A resident for five years, he was a retired banker, Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Marine Corps League.
He is survived by his wife, Luz A.; one daughter, Lorraine Keane of Seaford, N.Y.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:20 a.m. Jan. 3.
The family suggests donations to the Marine Corps League of Las Vegas, 4360 W. Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Jennie E. Ruybalid
Jennie E. Ruybalid, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 18, 1916, in Springer, N.M. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen Romero of Seal Beach, Calif., and Edie R. Haslam and Essie Wayne, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Victor Ruybalid of Las Vegas and Will Ruybalid of Pahrump; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel, followed by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
John C. Sullivan
John C. Sullivan, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1930, in Cleveland. A resident for nine years, he was a retired manager, Army veteran and a member of the 107th Calvary Veterans.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary C. Knauss, Patricia Sullivan and Jo Anna Lamparelli, and two sons, John Sullivan Jr. and Randy Sullivan, all of Cleveland; one sister, Martha Jucks of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, Paul Sullivan and Jim Sullivan, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Adam Benjamin Vena
Adam Benjamin Vena, 28, of Las Vegas died Dec. 14 in Salem, Wis. A resident for 11 years, he was a welder.
He is survived by his mother, Debra Vena of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
