Nevada entrepreneurs now have a new source of capital, a newspaper reported.
The source is Technology Ventures Corporation (TVC), a New Mexico-based, non-profit foundation that helps high-tech entrepreneurs find funds from investors.
In Business Las Vegas, a sister newspaper to the Las Vegas Sun, reported this week that TVC partners with government entities and universities to commercialize technologies developed in their laboratories for national defense purposes.
In September, TVC received a $1.5 million grant from the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to open a commercialization office in Las Vegas, along with additional offices in California and New Mexico.
