Dennis Dean Anderson

Dennis Dean Anderson, 60, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 7, 1942, in Lake City, Iowa. A resident for eight years, he was an Air Force electronics technician.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Bradley Anderson of Justin, Texas, Darren Anderson of Avondale, Ariz., and Kevin Anderson of Las Vegas; his mother, Arlene Anderson of Iowa; four sisters, Rose Mosier of Kansas and LuAnn Suchan, Phyllis Peterson and Karen Pender, all of Iowa; and one grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Mary Avellino

Mary Avellino, 86, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Panarea, Italy. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one sister, Ursula Young of Henderson; and two brothers, Carl Ortado of New York and Vincent Ortado of California.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 7 in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Bianca Barrios

Bianca Barrios, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1937, in Havana, Cuba. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired assistant executive housekeeper at MGM Grand.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Dominquez, and two daughters, Terry Dominquez and Mary Alarez, all of Henderson; one brother, Lawrence Santamaria of Havana; and two grandchildren.

A rosary is scheduled 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by visitation until 10 p.m. at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Fredrick William Beck III

Fredrick William Beck III, 51, of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Saturday in Huntingtom, W.Va. Born Nov. 2, 1951, in Astoria, Ore., he was a Las Vegas resident from 1993 to 1999 and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Davis; two daughters, Heather Straus of Cahokia, Ill., and Cheryl Logan of Chesapeake; two sons, Jarrod Hout of North Bend, Ore., and Jason Davis of Lewistown, Mont.; his stepfather, Robert Keuser; one sister, Beverly Hart of Chesapeake; and seven grandchildren.

Schneider Griffin Funeral Home, 313 Big Branch Road, Chesapeake, Ohio, is handling arrangements.

May Bell Bourget

May Bell Bourget, 89, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 12, 1913, in Chicago. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Jennifer Piorrowski, Aimee Bourget, Roxanne Bourget, Tige Graper and Todd Graper; and four great-grandchildren.

Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.

John Ciavatta

John Ciavatta, 55, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, he was a carpet salesman and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one cousin, Vinny Ciavatta of Mastic Beach, N.Y.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Andrew Climo

Andrew Climo, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1935, in Rochester, Pa. A resident for eight years, he was a retired purchasing manager, and a member of the Teenagers Senior Bowling League and Senior Sweethearts Bowling League.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; one son, Michael Climo of Corona, Calif.; one daughter, Gizmo Climo, one brother, Leo Climo, and one sister, Helen Mock, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Ralph Crihfield

Ralph Crihfield, 71, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born Jan. 24, 1931, in West Virginia. A resident for seven years, he was a mason in the construction industry and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shermalee; seven daughters, Connie Keezma of Las Vegas and Wanda Blankship, Margie Moon, Karen Woodall, Peggy Ihrahim, Jean Lopez and Sandy Crihfield, all of California; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Grandview Cemetery, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump.

Patricia K. Dunn

Patricia K. Dunn, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by her husband, Albert; one daughter, Alice Pedersen of Tigard, Ore.; four sons, Robert Dunn Jr. of Torrance, Calif., Steven Dunn of Salt Lake City and John Dunn and Jeffrey Dunn, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Rose Dunbar of Dexter, Neb., Marge Earles of Boise, Idaho, Mary Armenta of Whittier, Calif., and Joanne Mendoza of Long Beach, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

George Jaikowech

George Jaikowech, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 4, 1921, in New York City. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired security guard, and World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Mildred Lucas Kellough

Mildred Lucas Kellough, 84, of North Las Vegas died Dec. 13 in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 2, 1918, in Rhine, Ga. A resident for 20 years, she was a child caregiver.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph C. DeBoles of Las Vegas and William C. DeBoles of Maitland, Fla.; three daughters, Dradyne Z. McLemore of Las Vegas and Margaret D. DeBoles and Yvonne R. DeBoles, both of Apopka, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Thursday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Donald D. Kinyon

Donald D. Kinyon, 89, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 21, 1913, in Portland, Ore. A resident for 63 years, he was a railroad conductor, Coast Guard veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one daughter, Anne Young of North Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Bella Litvak Kraus

Bella Litvak Kraus, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Florida. She was born Dec. 24, 1910, in Kiev, Russia. A resident for one year, she was a retired furrier and a member of the B'nai B'rith and Hadassah.

She is survived by four sons, Sandy Litvak of Las Vegas, Dr. Allen L. Litvak of Pensacola, Fla., Saul Litvak of Tampa, Fla., and Robert Kraus of Kingston, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Benny M. Kuykendall

Benny M. Kuykendall, 55, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 15, 1947, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. A resident for 47 years, he was a maintenance technician and Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; one daughter, Wendy Kuykendall, and one son, Michael Kuykendall, both of Arkansas; his mother, Ann Lemmon, and one sister, Diane Kuykendall, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Charles Roberts

Charles Roberts, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born June 3, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a truck driver and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Audrey Roberts and Tracy Ruck, and one son, John Roberts, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph "Sonny" Roberts of Brooklyn; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Morgan Elwyn Thomas

Morgan Elwyn Thomas, 77, of Las Vegas died Dec. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1925, in Iowa. A resident since the 1950s, he was a musician and Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; four sons, Mark, Anthony, James and Michael; two daughters, Tami and Brenda; and five grandchildren.

Lester C. 'Chuck' Tolbert

Lester C. "Chuck" Tolbert, 79, of Las Vegas died Dec. 17 in a local care center. He was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Bloomington, Ind. A resident for 20 years, he was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Vennie Q.; one daughter, Leslie C. Tolbert of Reno; two sons, Thomas C. Tolbert of California and Victor K. Tolbert of Florida; one brother, Frank E. Tolbert of Logansport, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Chapel, Boulder City, followed by burial in the Southern Nevada Veteran Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Phyllis M. Zinsmeister

Phyllis M. Zinsmeister, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Montpelier, Ind. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Street of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
