StumbleWells honored for community service

Bill E. Wells of Las Vegas was awarded the H&R Block Foundation Henry W. Bloch National Award for Outstanding Community Service.
Wells was recognized at the annual holiday celebration Thursday in Kansas City, Mo., and awarded a grant totaling $5,000 to a charity of his choice. He selected The Meadows School of Las Vegas.
Wells is the past chairman of the board of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
