Letter: Further shame on Nevada Power

Why does Nevada Power have promo spots on television -- who do they have to compete against? It's not like we have a choice of power companies.

In July, August and September my air conditioning bills were over $900. Having a disabled person in the household, not using the air conditioning was not an option.

I really don't care who works for Nevada Power or what their names or duties are. However, I am interested in a comparison of their annual salaries against mine, which is $20,000. The chief executive officer's annual salary also would be interesting to compare.

Perhaps I'm jumping to conclusions and their commercials are free of cost.

Shame, shame on Nevada Power.
