Rock walls offer recreation challenge
The Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is featuring bouldering walls at the Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road, and Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St.
There is no charge to use the walls, and no special equipment is required. Climbers 6 years of age and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
The walls are multi-dimensional and are built into the far end of each facility's gymnasium. The custom climbing design, which enables patrons to climb horizontally and vertically, has an authentic rock look and feel to enhance the climbing experience.
